Perfect games to me are games that are great when you first play them and then great 30 years later when you play them again. They're classics, and never die. If a game ages poorly, then it was flawed from the start and short sided.

Perfect Sequel: Raidou 2

Hmm, I'll just list the games I consider perfect.

Chrono Trigger (JRPG)
Super Mario Bros 3 (Platformer)
Super Mario World (Platformer)
Skies of Arcadia (JRPG)
Undertale (RPG?/Indie?)

Perfect Adventure: Ocarina of Time

Lol.

And you have the balls to say it's Miyamoto who has bad taste.

He is the one making SF0 and I'm not the one defending it. So, yes, I have good taste.

OoT >>>>>>>> ET >>>>>>>> Star Fox 0

Well, I'm not entirely sure if overexaggerating is the best way to go about things when trying to show you have good taste in games... Unless you ACTUALLY think ET will be better than SF0, in which case.... Yeesh.

I'd even agree with you that OoT is pretty much a perfect action adventure.

Ocarina of Time is a great game. It's a lot of very good things, actually. It's a great game, with a great story, great characters, a great soundtrack, great dungeons, great bosses, great puzzles, and a lot of other great stuff.

But if there's one thing it MOST CERTAINLY isn't, that's "perfect". The entire first THIRD of the game is an atrocious borefest that just keeps dragging on forever and I'm pretty sure not a lot of people who played the game for the first time in the 21st century had fun with that part. There were a lot of flaws during that, and also some more in the rest of the game.

One could say it's a great game. It is definitely a game worthy of being someone's favorite ever. Maybe, just maybe, you can even say it's "the greatest game of all-time", depending on what exactly you mean by that. But it is not, by any means, a perfect game. It's just not.

Fair enough, but you can nit pick any game to say it isn't a perfect game.
