Nintendo needs to do something about these idiotic petitions.

What on earth can they do about it?

This is the sad part... aparently Im the minority that disliked Sticker Star.

Even if I vote with my wallet, hopeing they make a new Paper Mario like TTYD, chances are they wont, if everyone just buys these sticker star games.

Honestly, I'm defending Sticker Star because I liked it but would be just as happy with a more traditional RPG. I'm weird & am aware of it. I rank them: PMN64 > SPM > PMSS > PMTTYD

Although, to be fair to TTYD, I never finished it. I got to the last boss but couldn't beat it, then my copy was taken & I was never able to play it again. I will buy it immediately if it ever goes on the eShop

Paper Mario is one of my favorite series & I like that it mixes it up with every game. With that said, I understand how you guys feel. I'm a big Resident Evil fan, some of my personal favorite games. I didn't appreciate the change that took place with RE4 so I do feel bad for those who didn't enjoy SS & miss the original gameplay.

RE4 is a masterpiece. How anyone can prefer the old controls are beyond me. Must be nostalgia or something.

I wasn't interested in the game before I saw this petition, but now I'm buying it day 1.

Eh, why bother, it's not like Nintendo could make a better Paper Mario game nowadays anyway.

So, Federation Force all over again. My opinion about this, it's pretty much pointless and childish. But, hey, to each their own. I mean, you could post your thoughts, you could make Nintendo know that people don't want another Sticker Star, but there are more ways to do that.

We already did that a long time ago, Nintendo just chose not to listen, which, it's ok, as long as they don't expect me to keep buying their thrash. If this game bombs, Ninty has no one to blame but itself.

Couldn't have said it better myself.  I think I'm finally reaching that middle ground all Nintendo fans one day face - most Nintendo devs can't cut the mustard; and I can't enjoy Nintendo games like I used to.

I know that RE4 is considering a masterpiece and to many, one of the best games of all time. My dad who doesn't play video games, beat it on hard mode without dying he liked it so much

I just wasn't that into it. Reasons I prefer the older ones: (RE1, RE2, RE3, RERemake, RECVX)

-Slower paced - I tend to not enjoy action stuff, movies, games, anything really.

-Actual zombies -While the older games aren't necessarily scary, I found the enemies to be cooler / more fitting. Zombies > Crazy people

-Puzzles - RE4 had some puzzles but not as many and I actually liked the whole "find a key, unlock the door" machanics and having to remember where each room was

-Music - Now this one is definitely nostalgia based but hey, I can't help it (although, I do feel it helps with the atmosphere more)

so while I won't deny it's a bit nostalgic, I played the remastered original on the PS4 & still very much enjoyed it so I just think they are better games...for my tastes

Ill give you the puzzles, but RE4 improved on everything else imo. Could you imagine if they had stuck with those old controls? I think the series would be pretty much dead now. They would need to improve on the old controls alot for a game like that to succeed in todays market.

Not going to work, but I'll sign it for the lolz

Yeah, the controls were really difficult / weird. Funny thing tho, in the remastered version, they give you the option to use the old controls or updated controls. I tried the updated controls & I couldn't do it. I had played with the original controls so much that my brain connected Resident Evil 1 with those controls. I was running into walls and crap...had to switch to the old crap version

but I agree with you, in today's market, the over the shoulder method works better.
