For those of you who can't see the video, a very rough synopsis: Basically some German journalists got to play it recently and possibly broke an NDA describing their experience. It's all been scrubbed off the internet now, but they were talking about intelligent alien species to barter with, learning languages to lower prices, doing tasks for these aliens, a possible sniper rifle (or just a zoom add-on for the multitool), and how there can be "whole folks" on planets, whatever that means. Some animals can hunt you from hundreds of kilometers away.

Yeah, same time as FF13 which came out in 2009/2010. Let that sink in, FF13 came out very late 2009 in Japan and that was announced at the same time at E3 in 2006. It's been 6 years since a main title FF game. We are still waiting. God knows when FF16 or 17 might come out, 2023 maybe?

I wonder how much of original announcements were more of the procedurally generated stuff and not an actual game. Get that made, announce it then based on interest, make the game.

Sony is promoting the game now how long? 3 years? 
They should just finish this game and release it. Too much hype for No Man's Sky imo.

I'm sure they delayed it to add in VR support and launch VR and No Man's Sky sibe by side. The game is perfect for it.
