I don't think Pikmin 4 will be announced though, probably will be saved for NX launch title

You should be thankful that you werent around back before 2005!  Back then you didn't have the 'right' to know everything about a new product  before a Co would release info on their own terms.

If you don't want to be disappointed than just have low expectations, they said its for 3DS/Wii U games through summer so just assume its new info for previously announced games, some localizations & eShop/Virtual Console releases.

They've been mostly clear on what they're planning to present before each direct. So those with the highest of expectations should always reconsider. I don't know what to expect, all I know is that there will be something I didn't expect. Remember Cloud, the actual reveal of #FE, or the initial reveal of Fates?

I'm guessing the big focus will be on Star Fox Zero. It seems to be a potentially important game for reviving the series and tending to the fans for a while. Besides that, I'm thinking a bunch of release dates and trailers of smaller games. Bravely Second, Hyrule Wariors Legends, Detective Pikachu, and so on.

They could also use the Direct to announce their Zelda anniversary plans. It would be just in time for Twilight Princess HD, and we'd probably get Zelda U info in that case. If we get a game announcement, I guess Paper Mario 5 would be a fairly safe bet. It may be for the 3DS again though.
