Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo to make final decision on delaying Star Fox Zero again by Friday

If it's delayed again, I wonder how people is going to defend this.

I don't believe it. It's an elemental thing like a control scheme that we're talking about and I can hardly imagine that Nintendo at this late stage realized that it's not working. This is so basic that it has to be done in the very early stages of development, but now, two months before release someone comes by and says it doesn't work? This doesn't make sense, really.

That's because it is just a rumor. I think you are the only one on this thread who spot this nonsense

Que bien, ojalá así mejore su multijugador en linea y lo saquen también en NX

I think they should scrap the game controls and start again as a NX launch title.

graphics are already poor for wii u, would be a bad launch title

I don´t think they will delay that game again. They need the game as soon as possible on the market

Me neither.

According to the info we have, the game went into QA at Nintendo of Europe in Mid january where where the rumor caught fire about the issues. And he reported them. here a quate form the originial

"We've since contacted Robertson directly and he's elaborated a little more. He says that Nintendo's QA department is very concerned with how players will react to the "complex" motion controls - which have come under fire in the past - and that the entire project feels "disjointed".

It also says NoE was expected to fix this issue, in some way.

So this is not a new issue, this was even stated as one of the Official reasons why they delayed the game. In no way did this pop up only 2 month from release.

Lastly, Liam is a very trusted source, while nothing he says should be taken as fact, but I would give him the benifit of the doubt.

Okay, so then it's three months instead of two, that doesn't change anything. It would still be way too late to recognize if it really was that bad. Also, another thing that bothers me is why on earth should NoE fix it? NoJ and Platinum are developing it, why should NoE be involved at all? This is very fishy, cycycychris. I'm already kind of sorry for my constant repelling against you, there are no bad intentions and I really like your threads, but this just sounds wrong to me, you know.

They should probably decide before 2moro's direct? :p

Well this is going to be a bit awkward, the direct is going to be on Thursday, but they are almost certainly will show this game and mention its release date. And then they are going to potentially delay it a few days after.

Yep so this is either fake or they decided to bump up the decision. Hard to imagine them reconfirming April tomorrow just to delay it the next day.
