This is what everyone do, the In-game money is easy to get, the Companies just release a Ultra Goddess version, with every DLC, for they be able to charge Full price for the Disc, because the old version already lost the value, you can get on Day 1, on Street Fighter Single Player, the same that you would get, paying 15-18US$, i think that this model is pretty fair for someone that Spend Time, but not Money on the game.

Okay, so stop arguing. You agree with me.

Capcom said they werent going to make multiple versions that split the audience, which is awesome. But they are going to push microtransactions which is a different kind of nuisance.

They are not pushing Microtransactions, the Microtransactions are on Dota, or League of Legends Style, Capcom, learned the best ways of transactions from Each game, the game is not Pay to win, and you can get Everything for free, Release a Disk, just to sell it at full price retail, with Full DLC, after some time, this is much commum for Developers, this is just to sell full price at retail, because the original version already lost Value on Currency $$$$$$$$$$, but is the same game, is like you borrow the game from someone that already had all the characters, and start playing this, is the same game that the people who purchase Day one, will be playing.

They are pushing microtransactions. As a time saver characters cost 6 bucks to unlock and they are selling a season pass time saver for 30 bucks. In SFIV you could unlock a character in 5 minutes of Arcade mode.

You're ignoring the obvious and its kinda strange.

You can unlock 3 Characters with 1 day of Single Player mode, and each character will have a 2 Months launch Windows, so  you will have enought time to save money for the other 3.

They could also give us all the characters with no grinding at all. Instead they sell microtransactions and an overpriced season pass.

Just give it a rest. You get the point.

Killer Instinct, move Microtransactions, Destiny, move microtransactions, Street Fighter, is like Dota, or LoL,  there isn't really any griding, you make it seems that have a lot of griding, and you still deny the Truth, that you can get Each Character, very easy with in-game coin.

You keep comparing it to F2P games. The fact that a $60 title has F2P elements should tell you they are pushing those microtransactions. Or did they add the abillity to buy funny money and grind for "fighter XP" just for the heck of it?

Games like League or Smite are also not pay to win. And like SFV, they feature content you can earn with in game funds, or spend real cash. And like SFV, they have content you can only buy with real cash. But again the difference is those games cost $0. I can pick up Smite and unlock every God and lots of costumes for each one without ever paying a penny. I have to pay $60 to pick up SFV, and then also grind for some of the content. That's the shift in design that is present. It is there to encourage people to spend real money on content that they don't want to grind to unlock.

Easy is subjective. It will take numerous hours to unlock all the characters and thats why they have time saving microtransactions.

Thats the truth. Lets wait and see how it goes.

The problem with your statement is that KI is F2P, SFV is 60$. So there clearly is a difference between the two.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Most fighters require you to unlock characters and extra costumes by beating modes or certain difficulty settings. Others use in-game money or xp to unlock. They are just offering a shortcut where people pay for it if they want. It's not a big deal. Grinding is becoming the norm btw. It's prevelent in rpgs, shooters (multiplayer), sports/racing and in action/adventure. Also the option for paying to skip it all is becoming more normal.
