The mod seen here that I originally linked, shows the entire package being returned (on PC via a mod).

That to me looks like the full package that was originally once there, like entirely.

Look at it again, the move should end with both girls doing a Stone Cold Stunner esque move to the ankle of the victim of the move which should end in them hitting their head off the ground and having their legs completely split open, this mod moves the camera like I said, but it doesn't change the end pose of the victim, they're still just in a generic stunned pose.

The finished version had the actual full slap cut out. THe mod in general was talking about bringing the slap back in, not any other part that shows more thigh. Not the double butt *slam* (difference between slam and slap).

The Capcom guy said it would take awhile to make SFV. It's not a game that wasn't going to happen without Sony.

If anything, maybe the Sony money saved it from being even more bare bones and rushed.

That's what I thought i read as well but kept hearing ppl twist the shit like Sony saved it. Maybe I read something else.

Here he is saying it would take until 2018 to make SFV. Your link is to an interview about a next gen port of one of the SFIV updates. Which he says they don't have the resources for. But it came out anyway. I mean, I don't see how anyone would believe Capcom would have just killed Street Fighter if Sony didn't give them money. That would be like EA losing tons of money on risky/bad business ventures and deciding eh.... it's just too darn risky to make another Madden unless someone pays for it.

Of course, Capcom had to goof up SF as well. Maybe they are just not long for this world.

LMAO, you DO know it costs a hell of a lot more to make a whole new game from scratch than it does to port a game, right? If they can't afford to port USFIV, they can't afford to make SFV by themselves, plain and simple, hence why the article said "Capcom doesn't have the resources to port Street Fighter IV to next-generation consoles, let alone make a whole new iteration in the revered fighting game series", talk about serious straw grasping. And BTW, the only reason it DID come out for PS4 was because Sony fully funded it.

Also, the difference between EA and Capcom is EA aren't in serious financial trouble to the point of having to almost exclusively make HD remasters of old games as far back as 2 generations ago. And the few AAA titles they did make in the last few years, guess what? They needed help on all of them. Just like they needed Nintendo's help on Monster Hunter 4 and Microsoft's help on Dead Rising 3.

That was a long reply just to confirm that you dont understand how budgeting works. The guy said himself SFV would take until 2018. Ill side with logic and direct quotes about the game in question over a random websites interpretation of their own assumption based on a completely different project, thanks.

Lets think of it another way. An ex-Zipper (SOCOM) employee recently said on GAF that Sony hasnt made an HD SOCOM collection/port because the server costs would be too high. But like omg, how can Sony be worried about server maintenance bills AND at the same time be making games like Uncharted, Horizon, AND be footing the SFV bill?

Not having the money to do one thing doesnt mean you automatically cant do the other. So maybe Capcom didnt see Super Duper SFIV on PS4 as a priority worth investing in until Sony sent them a check. We dont know. But we do know Ono thought SFV was going to take years to make, he said as such. He didnt say it would never happen because Capcom was broke, he said it would be 2018 probably. And hell, even that could have been an exaggeration.

This isnt really worth arguing about, enjoy the last word.

You genuinely believe Capcom needed Sony to make a new release of their mega popular IP?

I personally don't believe Capcom needed Sony to release an incomplete game.

If you ignore constant reports of Capcom being at risk of being bought by another company , Capcoom's well reported fianacial troubles, and a developer saying he doesn't have the funds to make SFV, then I guess you can believe whatever you want.

Constant reports and exageration often exist when websites need something to talk about. If Capcom can invest in numerous games but not SFV, something doesent make sense.

People still tell me the Tomb Raider reboot was a bomb by the way. The true story is less interesting.

16 atm, but 6 more are coming this year. Possibly more in the future. Capcom themselves said that they want to support this game for a very long time.

I fully expect a "Turbo" edition next year on PS4, PC, X1, and NX -- as well as an arcade release.

Nope. That ain't happening. As far as X1 and NX getting the game. Sony helped pay for this game to be developed. I'm sure there are stipulations in that contract to negate any rendition of this particular numbered game going elsewhere but PS4/PC. Besides, Capcom has stated numerous times that SFV will be the only game you will ever need. They are going to add DLC to just this game. No super/hyper/mega/turbo/deluxe edition is coming for this "numbered" series.
