I still play PSone games as well, heck... I even buy them! Since the PS3 is (only) BC with PSone games, I play most of the PSone stuff on the PS3. Unfortunately not all games work great on the PS3 though.

My first game for the PS1 was Time Crysis with a light gun.

I must have completed that game about 50 times. Great fun.

 Ahhhhhh that's a fun memory right there. I used to play the arcade version a lot and then my parents picked up Project Titan for me for my birthday. Nothing about the game really made any sense, but it was fun to play at least. 

Anyway, @OP, I haven't played some of those games you've mentioned in such a long time. You've increased my interest in trying to find these games again.

The ps1 games have aged terribly, even snes games have stood the test of time better than ps1 games.

although 3DO was my first system! haha     my dad opted to buy a 3DO instead of a SNES (N64/PS1 weren't out yet). what a dumb move, at least he didn't buy a neo geo.

but PS1 is an amazing system, 3rd best ever after PS3 and PS2 respectively.

 Yes, Crash Bandicoot is awesome. I still play Crash 2 and 3 and my roommate has the first one.
