It has a Toys'R'Us look to it. I looks more kid focused than I've ever seen Nintendo before. I'm getting a little worried. But 3rd party deopers seem have the NX's attention.

That's interesting. I haven't tried it yet, but Nintendo.co.uk are saying that Nintendo Account services will be available in March.

I've just used both my spanish and dutch accounts, and they work!

It's a shame I can't recover my deleted TomaTito NNID

It was really painless. After a verification email code it was just a couple clicks. Wish it was always this painless to do stuff with Nintendo.
