Nope, but in a tournament you have to use a special method which is called strategy.
I already know which characters will dominate this tournament, so I try to downvote these characters and upvote the characters which aren't that popular in this forum. But it doesn't work because it's to hard to compete against so many other users who will always downvote the same characters with no  reason (mostly Xbox or Playstation characters)...

Lol, dude rol explained this perfectly a while back.

NIntendo will vote for nintendo, sony will vote for nintedo and sony, and microsost will vote microsoft and nintendo. The reason is simply who is loved more and who everyone is exposed to. Nintendo Ips have this longevity and remain relavant throughout it, regardless of the opponent most people have encountered and "bonded" with the IP/characters more than they have the others. If the other companies had mascots like that then maybe, but they really don't have the IPs/Characters with the same longesvity as nintendo.
