OG Xbox was a much more relevant console than Dreamcast. Xbox sold signifcantly more units, it had better 3rd party support, and it had a longer life. I was a big Dreamcast fan and I still have a few sitting in my closet, but the facts are the facts.

I'm getting really bored. You just keep saying how much better Playstation is doing. I get it and that doesn't change the fact Xbox One still has a large presence. Albeit significantly smaller than PS4. Xbox One is still a sucess even with PS4 selling significantly more units. You just can't seem to get your head around that.

Most of X1's sales outside the US is not in the UK. You boast about Sega's sales outside the US but neglect the fact none of their machines is overall as successful as X1. You're spinning numbers to make an argument, its dumb.

As long as Playstation doesn't get the X1's exclusives, they will be fine. You can stop losing sleep over X1 exclusives, all will be fine. Even Playstation shares exlcusives with PC.

VR isn't a proven success yet. Especially not at the price its going to launch at.

Selling tons of units in one country is better than selling a small number around the world. Did you consider that? If Sega was selling as many units as Xbox they would have continued making hardware. Xbox One will sell more units than Master System, Genesis, and Saturn combined.

It doesn't matter where Xbox sells the most units. What is important is they sells a lot of units and lots of software. Maybe releasing games on PC helps generate revenue outside the US.

I'M not saying that Xbox, is a Failure, you is the One saying that people purchase Consoles to See Netflix, while I'm saying that people only purchase consoles for Games, and Share play, Streaming for Youtube, Twich, Online Gaming, are Gaming features, and not Multi-midia features, and the Games purchase consoles for Games.

Is much better sell a lot Worldwide, than on USA, USA, have 1 Console or more per Home, so you cannot grown on those Region, Sega, made a console that sold 13-14 Millions of Units, with more than 10 Millions out-side USA, and  the console only had 3 Years life-spam before the next console came out.

i Doubt that Xbox One, will sell more than Genesis, the Console might have Shipped over 18-19 Millions, and sold 16-17 Millions, they will need to sell more 16 Millions to Surpass Genesis, they are losing on USA, YOY Drop, they had YOY drop on Revenue of hardware Xbox sales, they will have 2 other competitor, that is Playstation VR, and Nintendo NX, so will lose the Holidais sales in the only country that they are Selling, and they are shipping less than 1 Million per quarter, they only shipp something On the Holidais.

Xbox One, will have a Drop in sales because all their exclusives are coming to PC, i'm also saying that Sony, aways had competition, the Xbox 360, was not the "First Competition that Sony had", Had 31 Millions of Nintendo 64 + 12-13 Millions of Saga Saturn = 43 Millions.

Had 10 Millions Dream Cast + 25 Millions Original Xbox, and + 22 Millions of Game Cube = 57 Millions, in this Generation, the Playstation 2, only sold over 100 Millions before  the PS3, came out, the other consoles had sold those Millions, in the same Time-frame, so 57 Millions of other consoles, i think that is a Fair competition.

100 Millions Wii + 86 Millions Xbox 360 = 186 Millions.

I'm selling the Truth, that Xbox One, does not have WorldWide appeal, and the Wii U, also lost the WorldWide appeal that they had, this means that Xbox One, can only rely on USA, and UK, and begun to sell less than the previous year even on the USA.

Sony, had the Only home console that sold over than 100 Millions without USA, i'm just saying that they have WorldWide appeal, and can rely on any other country out-side USA, but Microsoft, if lose USA, they don't have other market to sel for.

Sony, sold more Playstation 4, on Arabic Countries, than Microsoft, sold of Xbox One, on Germany+ France, That are on the top 10 Biggest countries for Video Game, France + Germany, is more than 6 Billions of US$ on Gaming Revenue, and Sony, is selling more Playstation 4, on a region that the Biggest Country only spend 188 Millions of US$ on Gaming, than Xbox One, is selling on a country that spend 6 Billions + US$, on Gaming, did you see the Difference of Having more than 1 Market to Rely  ?.

I Wanna make a Bet, i bet that Xbox One, will have a Heavy Decrease on Sales, because of Exclusives coming for PC, until the end of 2017, we will see the Results, if i win is because Exclusives is that move the Heavy Majority of sales, if Xbox One, have Increase in sales even with the Exclusives coming to PC, until the end of 2017, so i Believe that this "Multimidia" is what sell consoles.

And we will have to wait to see.

You're certainly implying X1 is a failure given all this talk about sales. I certainly feel its important consoles have the streaming features, its a lot of value and people buy modern consoles with the expectation of having those features.

Massive sales in one country than is better than poor sales world wide. Especially to me given I live in the country Xbox is most successful. You boast about Sega's numbers world wide and ignore a machine like Xbox 360 outsold the every Sega console combined. Its a stupid conversation.

X1 one is going to sell a lot better than you think. Lets just wait and see, its already exceeded most expectations.

Again, Xbox consoles are the only machines that directly competed with Playstation in a signficiant way. Primarily because Xbox appeals to similar types of gamers as Playstation. Something Nintendo and Sega haven't done in a significant way in a long time.

and Xbox 360, don't out-sold every Sega's console Worldwide, and Xbox, did not did something that neither Sega, or Nintendo, was not able to, Sega, had a hard time because Nintendo, locked the Third Party support, and awesome games were just avaliable on Nintendo's consoles, when Playstation, first came out Sony, take nearly all the Third Party support, only because Nintendo, had a Console that the Storage card, only had 64MB, of space, while Playstation, had a storage capacity of 700MB, look at how many games surpassed 64MB, on Playstation 1's era, i think that even Harvest Moon Back to Nature, surpassed 64MB, of Size, the Saturn, was a great sucess on Japan, because had a lot of JRPG, exclusives for the japan, and i think that in the end still out-sold Nintendo 64, on Japan, but was hard to develop to, Playstation, get the Support and just waited to see the results, the results only came after 4 years, and became the most Sucessful console until the end of the 90's, sellingright than any other console.

The Xbox 360, different than Playstation, to get the Third Party Support, launched 1 year early, and had more than 50% of Failure rate on the first millions of consoles, even being 300US$ Cheaper, and easier to program too than the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, still had a really hard time with Playstation 3, on the  Middle-late cicle, Playstation 3, was Out-selling Xbox 360, by more than 25 Millions WorldWide, and you think that this isn't more important than sell the majority on only 1 Country ?, this means that the Next consoles, would sell more Worldwide for Sony, than for Microsoft, because of That Microsoft, is releasing their tittles on PC, they cannot grow out-side USA, because they don't try to appeal for those kind of people.

Xbox One, in 1 Year of sales on Japan, did not sold more than Xbox 360's Launch on Japan.

Xbox One, is selling much worse on Europe, with exception of UK, than the Xbox 360, did.

Xbox One, is selling much Worse Worldwide, than Xbox 360, did, and Sony, is selling much more Worldwide, than the Playstation 3, did.

Sony, sell more consoles for countries that combined don't even have 800 Millions on gaming revenue, than Xbox One, sell on countries that combined have more than 6 Billions of Revenue.

Now, Microsoft, is losing on the USA, so where do they will sell Xbox, if it only sell on USA ?, because of that you need Worldwide appeal, the World, have much more to grow, than USA, and is important to plant the Seed, to make they chose you Brand, over another.

And Sega's Master system, sold 13 Millions without USA + Genesis 17-18 Millions Worldwide, Sega Saturn, sold more than 8 Millions  without USA, and this already is more than Xbox 360's Worldwide sales, isn't ?, and Sega, did it before Gaming, became Main Stream, seems that you Downplay Sega, only because they don't sold 50 Millions of Consoles on just 1 country, like Xbox.

Lets see with Market Share ? Nes, sold over 62 Millions, agaist 13-14 Millions of Master System, total 75-76 Millions, over 18% of Market share for Sega, on the first Home console.

On Microsoft's debut on the console market, Original Xbox, sold 24-25 Millions, GameCube 23-24 Millions, Dream Cast,  9-10 Millions, Playstation 2, over 157 Millions, Total 213-216 Millions, Xbox One, with over 11.5% Market Share, started worse than Sega's Console.

Now the most sucessful consoles from each one. 

Nintendo's Snes, sold 49 Millions, agaist over 35 Millions of Sega Genesis, Total 84 Millions over 41-42% of Market Share for Sega's Genesis.

Xbox 360 over 85-86 Millions, Playstation 3, over 86-87 Millions, Wii over 100-102 Millions, Total = 271-275 Xbox 360 had over 31-32% Market Share, just like the Playstation 3, if Sega, had the same Market share as before with the Genesis, they would have sold 112.750-115 Millions of units.

i'm just saying that Xbox One, don't have Worldwide appeal, just sell on USA, and if you don't have Worldwide appeal, and try to compete with a Brand, that Have Multiple times Worldwide appeal than you, and on a Market that Market Share, is the most important thing for your sucess, so Microsoft, should have used the 2.5 Billions that they gave for Minecraft, to make Games that had Worldwide appeal, i don't know if you know, but Games, is what sell consoles, and because of games, that Sony, have the Worldwide Appeal.

The Video Game Market, was not so huge when Sega, was on the market, the Market just begin to became Main Stream, after Sony, sell 105 Millions of Playstation 1, and 157 Millions of Playstation 2.

I'm Not saying that Xbox, is a Failure, i'm just saying that the Console will not sell, because don't have Worldwide appeal, and because Microsoft, is sending all the exclusives for PC.
