Is just a Bet, without nothing for the winner, just the loser acept the Fact that the Point of the winner was right, if i win is because Exclusives sell consoles, and if you win is because Multimidia sell consoles.
and Xbox 360, don't out-sold every Sega's console Worldwide, and Xbox, did not did something that neither Sega, or Nintendo, was not able to, Sega, had a hard time because Nintendo, locked the Third Party support, and awesome games were just avaliable on Nintendo's consoles, when Playstation, first came out Sony, take nearly all the Third Party support, only because Nintendo, had a Console that the Storage card, only had 64MB, of space, while Playstation, had a storage capacity of 700MB, look at how many games surpassed 64MB, on Playstation 1's era, i think that even Harvest Moon Back to Nature, surpassed 64MB, of Size, the Saturn, was a great sucess on Japan, because had a lot of JRPG, exclusives for the japan, and i think that in the end still out-sold Nintendo 64, on Japan, but was hard to develop to, Playstation, get the Support and just waited to see the results, the results only came after 4 years, and became the most Sucessful console until the end of the 90's, selling more than any other console.
The Xbox 360, different than Playstation, to get the Third Party Support, launched 1 year early, and had more than 50% of Failure rate on the first millions of consoles, even being 300US$ Cheaper, and easier to program too than the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, still had a really hard time with Playstation 3, on the Middle-late cicle, Playstation 3, was Out-selling Xbox 360, by more than 25 Millions WorldWide, and you think that this isn't more important than sell the majority on only 1 Country ?, this means that the Next consoles, would sell more Worldwide for Sony, than for Microsoft, because of That Microsoft, is releasing their tittles on PC, they cannot grow out-side USA, because they don't try to appeal for those kind of people.
Xbox One, in 1 Year of sales on Japan, did not sold more than Xbox 360's Launch on Japan.
Xbox One, is selling much worse on Europe, with exception of UK, than the Xbox 360, did.
Xbox One, is selling much Worse Worldwide, than Xbox 360, did, and Sony, is selling much more Worldwide, than the Playstation 3, did.
Sony, sell more consoles for countries that combined don't even have 800 Millions on gaming revenue, than Xbox One, sell on countries that combined have more than 6 Billions of Revenue.
Now, Microsoft, is losing on the USA, so where do they will sell Xbox, if it only sell on USA ?, because of that you need Worldwide appeal, the World, have much more to grow, than USA, and is important to plant the Seed, to make they chose you Brand, over another.
And Sega's Master system, sold 13 Millions without USA + Genesis 17-18 Millions Worldwide, Sega Saturn, sold more than 8 Millions without USA, and this already is more than Xbox 360's Worldwide sales, isn't ?, and Sega, did it before Gaming, became Main Stream, seems that you Downplay Sega, only because they don't sold 50 Millions of Consoles on just 1 country, like Xbox.
Lets see with Market Share ? Nes, sold over 62 Millions, agaist 13-14 Millions of Master System, total 75-76 Millions, over 18% of Market share for Sega, on the first Home console.
On Microsoft's debut on the console market, Original Xbox, sold 24-25 Millions, GameCube 23-24 Millions, Dream Cast, 9-10 Millions, Playstation 2, over 157 Millions, Total 213-216 Millions, Xbox One, with over 11.5% Market Share, started worse than Sega's Console.
Now the most sucessful consoles from each one.
Nintendo's Snes, sold 49 Millions, agaist over 35 Millions of Sega Genesis, Total 84 Millions over 41-42% of Market Share for Sega's Genesis.
Xbox 360 over 85-86 Millions, Playstation 3, over 86-87 Millions, Wii over 100-102 Millions, Total = 271-275 Xbox 360 had over 31-32% Market Share, just like the Playstation 3, if Sega, had the same Market share as before with the Genesis, they would have sold 112.750-115 Millions of units.
i'm just saying that Xbox One, don't have Worldwide appeal, just sell on USA, and if you don't have Worldwide appeal, and try to compete with a Brand, that Have Multiple times Worldwide appeal than you, and on a Market that Market Share, is the most important thing for your sucess, so Microsoft, should have used the 2.5 Billions that they gave for Minecraft, to make Games that had Worldwide appeal, i don't know if you know, but Games, is what sell consoles, and because of games, that Sony, have the Worldwide Appeal.
The Video Game Market, was not so huge when Sega, was on the market, the Market just begin to became Main Stream, after Sony, sell 105 Millions of Playstation 1, and 157 Millions of Playstation 2.
I'm Not saying that Xbox, is a Failure, i'm just saying that the Console will not sell, because don't have Worldwide appeal, and because Microsoft, is sending all the exclusives for PC.
