Hot dam! Did you buy every amiibo?  Must be an awesome collection to look at though =)

stop bitching about bloody amiibo god damn!

not one of the uses so far for any game are anything substantial to change gameplay, dont you see its just a way of Nintendo saying thanks to all the people who buy amiibo and rather than them be useless. Amiibo is single handedly keeping them a float right now so from the business stand point, its just rewarding the people who have them so they can find another use rather than just sitting in a collection. Cant you bloody see that?

Sometimes instead of just complaining try to look from another perspective. I have one amiibo the samus amiibo and thats only because someone bought me it for my birthday I couldnt care less about them but I see why Nintendo is doing it. Just stop with these threads seriously you sound like spoilt little children.

Oh, I thought by your thread title Nintendo openly came out and admitted that amiibo is basically day 1 on disc overpriced dlc. That'll be the day! My biggest issue though is having no other means to access that content, except for Super Mario Maker, a game that shows how amiibo should be done.

I told myself I'd only buy a Shulk amiibo, and nothing else...

Then I bought a Rosalina amiibo, and then I bought a Marth amiibo, and then I bought a Captain Falcon amiibo, and then I bought a Mario amiibo, and then I bought a Ness amiibo, and now I'm surrounded by amiibo. xD

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

If you look almost all things that are locked behind Amiibo you will see that those thing are really just small additional features to the full games.

Ganondorf Amiibo for TP HD is good example, 4x time never before did not exist in any Zelda game, WW HD dont have Amiibo and we have just regular Hero mode with 2x damage, so Ganondorf Amiibo basically bringing something new to the game and that feature wouldn't exist without Amiibo.

An assumption that doesn't hold much weight since the feature could easily exist without amiibo like pretty much everything locked behind amiibo, and yes that includes the trivial stuff like tap once a day to get an item. amiibo are only used to unlock these features, they do nothing towards their function.

That's not the point. The thing is, its pretty obvious they were not thinking on putting a button that you press and gives you arrows or hearts by the face, its pretty clear that this was a function they added because amiibo. And this is the exact same thing that happens with Ganon. Ironically people would be happier if the game had less content as long as amiibo has nothing to do with it, and thats what it does not make sense to me, if wasnt because of it TPHD would have been releasied like WWHD, with only Hero Mode and nobody would have complained.

I don't see a problem. It is a complete game. If you want some additional feature that you probably won't use anyway then buy it with the amiibo.

On the plus side you get an awesome looking amiibo for display.

DLC in general is useless crap tat you don't need to complete the full game.

Once they start taking away CORE functions not bonuses then there is a reason to complain.

You can't be sure of that, maybe they would have included that for free without amiibo. You simply can't make the assumption that it was in the game because of amiibo

Yes I can

Link gives you arrows
Zelda gives you hearts
Ganon gives you damage.

It makes absolute perfect sense. And tell me, how the hell would be the Zelda and Link amiibo functionality translated into the game without amiibos? It would be pretty dumb to press a button to have more arrows or hearts just because, dont you think? Of course it is, because this would have not existed without amiibo, we can all agree with that right? Then why is Ganon any different? in the moment you tap it, it gives you more enemy damage, just as link gives you arrows, they needed to think in something for every amiibo of the triforce and they came with that for Ganon. This would not exists otherways.

I agree its not DLC, its Paying for cheats, something all other companies get shot down for doing.
