So I'm currently playing through Syndicate and I'm enjoying the game as much as I have with the best of the past integrations. As I've always had a defined list in my head of how the AC games rank against each other I've been considering where I'd place Syndicate, and whilst I do have an idea I probably won't make a final decision until after I finish the game.

Here is my list, which I tend to split into 3 classes.

Class 1

1) Assassin's Creed II

2) Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

3) Assassins Creed Syndicate (provisional)

4) Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag

Class 2

5) Assassin's Creed III

6) Assassin's Creed Rogue

7) Assassin's Creed

Class 3

8) Assassin's Creed Revalations

9) Assassin's Creed Unity

From what I've seen in the past, there often tends to be a consensus with a list like this but espcially with the top ranked ones opinions often differ. With that in mind I wanted to see what other fans of the series thought. Do you have a different favourite? Or did you find my bottom two bearable and rank another one lowest?

Based on all of the ones I own:

1. Assassin's Creed 2
2. Assassin's Creed 1
3. Assassin's Creed Liberation

I also got one for free from Xbox Live but I haven't tried it, yet.

I've only played up to AC 3, but my rank would be

1.-Assassin's Creed 2

2.-Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

3.-Assassin's Creed

4.-Assassin's Creed Revelations (if it were longer, it would be nº 3)

5.-Assassin's Creed 3

I found AC 3 so bad and dull that it killed my interest in the franchise.

That's where I thought people might disagree with me. I personally didn't find it dull and I enjoyed the open world in the game, especially after how dull I found revaluations the year before.

i suppose it's down to what you enjoy in the series. I enjoy meeting the historical figures, having interesting worlds to explore and rampaging through the battles (Unitys failures in these departments are why I hate it so much).

I haven't played Rogue or Unity, but here's my list:

AC III almost killed the franchise for me. But IV was brought to me for free so I thought I'd give it a try, and I loved it.

Honestly surprised you liked unity more than the 3 you listed below it. And just out of curiosity and AC3 wasn't so bad for me, what didn't you enjoy about it?

Of those that I have played:

1. IV: Black Flag (Pirates! Caribbean! Ship battles!)
2. Unity (played it almost a year after release so not too many issues)
3. Rogue (just like Black Flag, but I had to play on last gen...)
4. II (never got into it and only played once or twice. I do regret it as I think I would have really liked it, and it caused me to avoid AC games until Black Flag.

I'm hoping Syndicate will be a bit better than Unity AND be more polished. I should play it sometime this year.
