This is Nintendo's first open world...in HD

Technically, it's not, Xenoblade Chronicles X was open world and HD. And since Monolith Soft assisted with the development of Skyward Sword, I wouldn't be surprised if they are currently assisting with Zelda U, using their experience gained from XCX.

I meant in house, but I think you got what I meant since you mentioned "technically." I wouldn't be surprised if Monolith Soft assisted in Zelda U too.

Xenoblade X also has huge open world so I am pretty sure they helping Zelda team with design and content of a world.

If that's true, it will be the second time Monolith saves Zelda team's ass (Skyward Sword). 5 years and they requiere help, yet there's nothing wrong. I'm surprised how people choose to be blind and ignore this problem.

Yeah, it wouldn't be the first time, they've already assisted with the development of Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, Smash Bros Brawl, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Pikmin 3, Splatoon. Seems like Nintendo could use all hands on deck with Zelda U, so I don't see why they wouldn't call on one of their most prolific development supporters.

It not unusual that in one company different teams help each other. And they dont saving their ass, Nintendo would finish those games even without Monolith help, but if Monolith doing some parts of games better than Zelda team (for instance in case of Zelda U big open world) its very logical they will help them because Zelda team don't have experiences with that compared with Monolith.

That's another poor excuse from your part to keep defending their lame work. SS was not open world. What's the excuse for them developing Lanayru area? Because Monolith is somehow expert in desert areas?

And since when is fine that a team that has 5 years to develop a game needs still help to do it? Because that happens with games that have a a way shorter dev cycle or have to be finished as soon as possible (MK7), not after a long cycle.

That is not excuse, that is a fact. I don't know what exactly Moonlight help with SS but in Zelda U they will probably help them with big open world.

Like I wrote, they Zelda team could finish game itself, but why not take help from team that has more experiences of some specific part of game then they have. Also you constantly forgetting in how many projects Zelda team was involved this gen.Nintendo definitely needs two Zelda teams because they hands are constantly full.
