Forums - Nintendo - Coordinating Cloud Data for My Nintendo

Sorry, I can't post links on my phone but on the 5th page of the most recent Investor Briefing, Nintendo outlined current & future My Nintendo servies. One of these services was "coordinating Cloud Data", did anybody else see this as confirmation of the SCD?

If you don't recall, SCD refers to "supplementary computing device", a recent patent that Nintendo filed went over this which is a type of device that allows for extra computing power that can be shared among others through the cloud and the patent also talked about potentially reimbursing people for allowing others to use their SCD.

The Investor Briefing slide seems to confirm that the SCD will be part of NX in the future and that you can gain My Nintendo points for allowing others to access your SCD. Anybody else intrigued by this?

Around the Network

When I saw that I thought something more simple, like cloud save data between devices.

Or just My Nintendo account cloud data for each device (i.e. the point program, owned titles, online purchases, etc).

EDIT: Here's the image [source]

Save data could be storaged on a cloud service and sent from handheld to home console (or viceversa). It could indicate the existence of two kinds of devices. I'd like to know if this is for digital or for physical too (I still don't know the format of the physical copies, although I would like them to be cartridges).

I don't think Nintendo will use cloud as a way to stream games. They are just now making a modern account system, cloud gaming is too far away.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
