Do you guys recall when Bandai Namco was recruiting people to make Smash Bros 6?? Everybody thougt that was a mistake. But now we have a rumor saying They are making a new Smash. 

Holy crap! Where's Smash 5?! I was out of the loop for so long in hibernation.

I remember that news, but it was about 3DS and Wii U, probably just the wrong number, lol.

So what you are telling me is that Nintendo will make another entry in one of its most succesful franchises? Megaton!

I don't know, I think that a little more to develop an all new Smash game, especially to differenciate it graphical-wise from Smash 4 which came out at the end of 2014...

It will be a Smash 4 port.

If it was simply a typo for a game that was already announced, surely they would just correct it and clear the air. I don't think we can rule anything out, especially not using Nintendo's past behaviour. The company is clearly changing. 

For sake of the NX I'd hope it is infact Smash 6 launching on the system and not just a port. They don't need to build the game from scratch like they did Smash U/3DS.

Smash has been a launch title before with the Gamecube (well it launched two weeks later, but same thing really); I could see the next Smash, new game or port, being a launch title since it's such a huge system seller. Reuse the engine and give Sakurai a bit of a rest though, the guy needs it. (And give us a proper story/adventure mode please; return of target smash and more characters would be appeciated too)
