He admitted that 1/3 of the games for the wii are shovelware.... I reallly think he is being nice to the system if he thinks that 2/3's of the games aren't shovelware, considering there are 3 pieces of shovelware that are actually the same game reskinned I think the Wii got hit the hardest I've seen in my lifetime of shovelware junk, and I'm considering the Atari 800 in that with it's tapes full of cloned games.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninjabread_Man

Was just reskined into 2 other games, links on the wiki. Total trash, has 3 stages to ... "play"

Yeah, I read that part, I thought it was kinda funny that he admitted to it.

Also, don't remind me of Ninjabread Man. xD

I first came across it many years ago when I was being asked if I could figure out modding a wii for someone (it was slightly hard at the time... slightly, and I owned a copy of Zelda: Twilight Princess which you needed for the hack) but yeah, once I got it set up I wanted to test it with a Wii Game and Ninjabread man was a massive.... 60mb to download, Such a waste of 60mb of downloading! I could have gotten myself a whole folder of funny cat pictures for that bandwidth :(

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I'll go ahead and get every Wii U game! Wish me luck!

(20 games later)

Finally! I have completed my journey!

Lol..No.

I have probably 40 disc games.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

To be honest, that's not really an accomplishment. You would only need to be a bid sniper and have five thousand dollars. Personally, I think it's a waste to buy every game of any console just for the sake of having 'em but hey one man's garbage is another's sacred treasure.

They are actually a little expensive in Europe. In America, you can find many for aroud 99 cents. Right now is the perfect time for these people to go after it. I doubt that many of these games shipped more than 1 thousand to ten thousand copies.

the odds are this guy paid something like 10$ ea for hundreds of the Wii titles. I yard sales and scavenge sometimes, and people are not all just throwing away their Wii games for 1$ each

generally at flea markets and yard sales these days people are pricing aggressively

This guy probably spent like 5-10 grand completing his Wii set.

I find it a lot more impressive when people complete old sets by grinding and hunting around at yard sales and such. if money isn't an issue then anyone can complete a set, which makes it less impressive

of course the Wii is easier to complete now than other things, but there is no way this guy was patient enough to wait around Gamestops and yard sales for even half of the titles. no way

He also trades a lot of games since he has many duplicates of some his games so not all the games where bought with cash a large chunck of those games where aquired via trades.  Plus he is a king at bargaing down prices he usually spends less then 2/3 of the orginal asking price for most of the used games he buys.

Well... at least I own all the GOOD Wii games on disc...

Complete collections are always impressive to see.

The guy in the video has ten complete collections and he is working on 11 which will be all the games released in North America on the PS1.

Where does he find the space for all of that?

I'm guessing he has lot of his stuff in storage since he also has many duplicate games and consoles that he either sells for profit or trades for stuff he doesn't have yet.  Also he is actually closer to having the complete Saturn collection then the PS1 collection but he is focusing on the PS1 collection first.

To get all the games from auction sites you would need a bit more then 5K since a lot of auctions don't offer free shipping and handling.

Of course. I was going by what he said it cost him on average per game. I wasn't trying to be exact with "have five thousand dollars". We know it's around 5 grand.

Worst system to collect every game from. Its mostly shovelware. There's only two games that are necessary for any wii collection and i own them lol 5 pts if you can guess which two games they are.
