Whether or not that's true, Nintendo has been after Apple for a long time. And all this NX speculation points at them wanting to go after them, once again

I sure hope not. No one right now can take on Apple. They're the Beatles of the tech world which means the only thing that can stop them is them. Nintendo should be going after Sony imo.

God no. Sony no. It is ok they have ambitions. In the end, they don't want to replace Apple, they want to be like Apple: huge profits, people goes in droves to buy their next update, etc. They felt with the Wii and DS like Apple, even if it was just for a short time.

Well, the "900p games" is the most realistic "spec" here ^^. I don't think at all that the NX will be able to run 1080p/60fps "AAA-quality" games. We're talking about Nintendo here, they don't make powerful consoles, and even the One and PS4 don't run many 1080p/60fps games. So 900p/60fps seems very good for a Nintendo console. The weird thing here is the 4K60fps video streaming.

But like ZhugeEX said, these are not specs, so it's a fake anyway.

Both companies integrate hardware and software in a way no one else does. Apple with its firmware and Nintendo with the way if builds hardware around its games. Both also focus on having a closed platform ecosystem, something Sony, Microsoft, and Google do not do.

I think it is fake just because of the 900p/60FPS part. Why would a company specify something like that? Regardless of specs most game run completely different from each other its not set. Also 900p is not an acheivment for them to list.

Yep and like I said earlier, nobody is forced to buy both just like iPhone owners aren't forced to buy iPads or iPods or vice versa. Apple just cares about getting as many people to use iOS as possible, If u just want the bare bones device for a kid than get the iPod, if u want a device to take with u everywhere u go than get the iPhone, if u prefer a device with a bigger screen to use at home than get the iPad. It makes no difference to Apple, as long as each device is profitable & the overall number of iOS owners is growing than they succeed. That's what Nintendo needs.
