Starting the year off with a bang.  The ps4 isn't letting up.  

It will be interesting to see how this fluctuates as 2016 goes on.  I'd imagine it will be very high until Xbox drags it down a little come holiday season.  

We'll see if Xbox can make the gap grow slightly less (I doubt they'll get a month this year) seeing as PS actually has a holiday line-up this year.

It's the PS4's 2009.

I Think that  Xbox One, will be either flat or down this year, while Playstation 4, will be up YOY, and Nintendo NX, will be up YOY (Because if launch in 2016, will be Nintendo Nx's first year), i Expect playstation 4, to be 60 Millions until the final of 2016, and i cannot predict Xbox One's numbers because Microsoft, dont give numbers, but i think that it would sell  Much less than Playstation 4, according to VG Chartz, in the first week of the year Playstation 4, sold 3x more than Xbox One, Worldwide, and Xbox One, is behind Nintendo 3DS's worldwide sales.

January Sales are Really sad for Xbox One, while is good for Playstation 4, because the majority of the other worldwide market also buy a lot of consoles after the Holidays, the "Clear Stock Sales".

Without a price cut, the Xbox one will surely be down yoy.

And I just noticed the week ending 16th hardware numbers.

Ps4 outselling x1 by over 3:1

3DS outselling X1 (shows Japan still makes a difference)

Vita is outselling the Wii U (again Japan is important)

PS3 and 360 are on their last legs.

It's 72,5% if we look at PS4 and XBone only. Because let's be fair, when it comes to most developers they won't be looking at Wii-U anyway. Almost every major multi platform game in the future will only launch on PS4 and XBone when it comes to consoles(until NX releases anyway).

It will interesting to see what exclusives xbox can hold onto.  Last gen when it was 50/50 getting titles like Splinter Cell and dead rising wasn't too bad.  but at 73% ps4 vs x1 on a weekly basis can these devs justify it and can Microsoft justify paying for the loss of the Ps4 profits and then some?  It will be interesting.

Very happy for you playstation fans though. Sony keeps doing everything right this generation on the home console front. I'd be so bold as to say it swallowed up the wii audience even though it's not specializing as a causal machine. It's just so open armed and awesome!

I didn't realize lol that's insane even if it's only one week.. Considering this time of the year seems to be better for ps systems it can get bigger
