You already know how these deals work nowadays. This is similar to the Bayonetta deal. It wouldn't have come out....or for better use of words, wouldn't have released as early as 2016 if it weren't for Sony. Sony helped pay for the dev cost of this game. It definitely ain't going no where, but PC and PS4. Same thing with the Dead Rising 3 game. Microsoft helped develop that game. It ain't going no where but Xbox One.

This is a day one purchase for me as well.

Wasn't rumours, just predictions for how a version of SFV would eventually make it to Xb one (and a Nintendo platform too I suppose). However SOny and Capcom eventually canned those speculations.

Well they could always do "Street Fighter Box" and ship the same game without any allusion to "V" on the naming

The exclusivity of Dead Rising 3 didn't hurt them because without MS there was no game to sell and MS provide them the chance to sell X number of copies. (X being the sales number for the all the game versions)

This is the same scenario but with different partner.
