I beleive actions speek lowder than words, but honestly, have you seen these prominant feminists? This is exactly how they act. I doubt more than a vocal minority acts like that. And again, what they Identify as doesn't change what they are: Femists, not feminists.

They were more closely associated Women's Rights Activists. And suffragettes is still not the same word as feminists.

Doesn't matter how authoritative it is, if they haven't updated the word in the past ten years, then it's an older definition that does not apply to most people's understanding of the word in this day and age because holy shit definitions can change to reflect culture omfg no wai.
