If the support continues, like they said, and like the ps3/ps4 situation today (ps3 still getting games with 2-3 years of ps4 generation), I'll be ok with the early NX release.
Are you ok with killing the Wii U so early? | |||

The games I wanted, and that would work well with the gamepad, are not coming to the Wii U. Some will probably not even come to the NX.
Endless Ocean: TV should be without HUD, like an aquarium, and all information on the gamepad.
Pilotwings: I imagined it somewhat like Star Fox but slower and with the airplanes instruments on the pad.
Animal Crossing: Creating patterns and maybe even 3D furnitures on the gamepad.
Pokémon Snap: Exploring with the gamepad "camera".
Fire Emblem: Maps, detailed info and more on the gamepad. Zooming in on the battlefield on the TV.
Metroid Prime: The game that the gamepad was made for.
Pokémon Trading Card Game: Soo easy to play with the gamepad.
Zelda 2D & 3D: Map, HUD and more on the gamepad.

Playstation devices can get that kind of support because they have all existing 3rd party avalible making games for them, even when the system is getting replaced. Nintendo doesn't have the ability to do that when they are mostly on their own.

But kimishima said "wii u will get more support after the NX's release" so, a boy can dream, right?
I mean, project guard, giant robot, pikmin 4, version of NX's games and a lot of indie (third party) games with release marked for 2017... (some getting phisycal releases), and so. Is a plausible scenario.

Dreaming is free, so dream away! XD
Even if Nintendo releases the NX platform this year, that doesn´t mean it is killing the wii u. People will still be able to play wii u games on the wii u. Just think about this, people is still buying the ps3.
Will they stop releasing games for the wii u after the NX is on the market? Probably. But if we think about the fact that the wii u has been a "failure" it´s obvious that Nintendo would try to change the situation.
Releasing more games for the wii u wouldn´t change the fact that the market don´t really like to concept of the wii u. so... about time to release the new console! :)

I'm fine with it, mostly because staying with the Wii U just won't really help Nintendo, and they have done so much to build the audience, making such excellent games. I've gotten enough to satisfy plenty on the Wii U, so if Ninten needs to move on the the NX to stay in the game, I'm okay with it.

Yes, 100%.
I´ve owned every Nintendo home console since the SNES (one of the best systems ever imo), and the Wii U is by far the worst imo, so I want to know what the NX is really about, and hopefully it´s released by the end of the year, and hopefully (as far as I´m concerned) it´s more in line with the 'spirit' of the NES/SNES/Wii.
Yes
Even if Nintendo supports the wii u longer, the games are limited in scope due to hardware limitations
Not like we have a choice since Nintendo have all but killed the Wii U already by having nothing major planned for the system beyond Zelda in 2016, and the Wii U's 4th year is shaping up to be like the GC's 5th year... hardly any software save for a Zelda title which could end up being a cross-gen release as we await the arrival of a new console.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
