My family's original Wii stopped reading disks after six or something years of use. Eventually we just sold it, and I let them have mine. That one still works perfectly, I was even playing Wheel of Fortune with them when I went home for the holidays.
Only other console I had issues with is my original 3DS model. There are thin lines on the top screen from closing it over the raised touch screen, the L-button doesn't work, and the control pad is worn down from playing Smash Bros. Fortunately all of my games that require L are Circle Pad Pro compatible, but the physical damage is more than a little annoying. If NX turns out to be a console I'll probably get the New 3DS, since I still have so many games to play on it.

Nope.
I know at some point I bought a new GC but I don't remember anymore if the other one died or someone broke it or if it was used before or if I sold it.

PS1 - one broke
PS2 - three broke (I know people who had their 7th)
PS3 fat - one broke (well was more like dead/faulty on arrival lol)
rest so far so good.
Screw the 360. Seriously, screw that piece of junk. Went through 3 of them in about 2 months before just giving up on Microsoft entirely. Meanwhile, my 2007 Wii still works today. Even with the ps2, I'm only on my 2nd one that I replaced in 2006.
X360 red ring of death, still hurts to this day
I've gone through more X360's than I care to admit.
