It benefits windows as a whole, simple as that. It adds to people wanting windows. this benefits them greatly as it's their biggest profit sector.

Which may be the case,  but it doesn't change the fact that PC is a different platform from Xbox. We don't say Star Citizen or any other PC game is under the Xbox fold. Games are cheaper on PC for a reasons. One of which is that developers and publishers don't give Microsoft a platform cut like on Xbox. 

Of course it's beneficial to Microsoft. OP said Xbox vs PS4 not PS4 vs everything that involves Microsoft. 

I can have windows 10 on PC without an X1, therefore my point is that it is just as irrelevant as streaming games from the past and a TV service.  Im sorry that a lack of exclusive games on X1 bothers so much that you have to reach that far.  Just enjoy what you have, no need to mention something as irrelevant as Win 10.  It is nice, but unnecessary just like PS Now and PSVue.

PS:  I am actually the only one of my friends that have an X1, so nice try.  As you can see I only play exclusives on it because as everyone knows PS4 is the better gaming machine.  I have all 3 therefore only speak facts.  PS4 is the better gaming platform, X1 is the better multimedia device.  Sorry if that made you feel the need to try to discredit me, but you pretty much just made yourself look petty by even trying.  ;)

No, because I don't have to have an Xbox to buy it. It's console/timed exclusive, not true exclusive. 

Ni-Oh, No Man's Sky, Tales of Berseria, Star Ocean 5, The Last Guardian, Horizon: Zero Dawn... That's three that I can only get on PS4.

Fable Legends, ReCore, Sea of Thieves... I can play those all on my PC.

I'm out. PC and XB1 or PS4 and PC, they have exactly the same value to you as the consumer who wants to buy a game that looks interesting. When it comes to the ability to physically play the game and where that is possible. That one is all Microsoft, doesn't make any difference if you own one of the little black boxes needed. You can't play games that are only available on XB1 but just owning an PC and visa versa. The console, whatever that may be, and Windows 10 are equally as separate when it comes to the exclusivity. That's what you would see from the outside world, the opposite of splitting hairs and a big obvious fact that you are trying very hard to make go away. I know why you're doing it, but to me it just seems pointless. I totally agree that a 'Microsoft exclusive' is a thing and because of the reasons spelled out above, that means literally nothing in a versus between the two consoles, and in a much wider sense.

When it comes to 'making rules', I should have made myself clearer I meant: "Sony has never owned those platforms. The facts haven't changed they have always been the same. And those aren't the rules we are playing by anyway." I feel the fact I used of 'rules' instead of 'facts' in the second sentence may have lead to some confusion of your part, and that was entirely my fault. You can't set a rule that goes against a fact, and hope to accomplish anything.  Now that all may have been pointless (A) but it may not have been (B), which is why i'm not going to check back for an answer because i'd rather be in limbo than disappointed. Option A is that you know what i'm saying true but for some strange reason you have allegiance to a giant company and feel the need to defend it, or rather attack on it's behalf. This is because you want to convince others or more worryingly yourself and that you are right no matter what, which is you own problem and i'm not going anywhere near it. But either way none of this is anything new and you should definitely stop. Option B is that you owe me one because you've genuinely fallen for believing that 'Microsoft Exclusive' means something it clearly doesn't, it's pretty obvious too if you stop to think about it for a second and ignore their marketing department. Even if only nudged you in the right way towards a quiet realisation, I hope these two paragraphs have been worth it. 

Good lord, stop posting. If you want to bring PC into the debate for XB1, then it comes in for PS4, too. That's not biased, that's fair. This is not your thread, you don't make up the rules. If you want to make your own "Xbox is better because" thread, then do so. Otherwise, Flint is attempting an unbiased comparison of what each console can do by themselves. So, This guy say that a PC/XBOX One, is a Xbox Exclusive, so i can say that the Games that Sony, made for Pc, like DC Universe, Planet Side, Ever Quest, And all the Games exclusive for Samsung TV (there are More Samsung Tv, out there than Windows 10), as a "Sony Exclusive" ?, this is Really Sad, now when you make a Game for PC/Console, and you Own a Store on the OS, now the Game became "Exclusive", so Portal, and Half-life 2, are "Valve Exclusives" ?.

I Will tell you a Secret my Dear, the Windows is a Open Souce OS, this Means that you Can make any Stupid APP, to it and Microsoft, will not Take 1 Coin from it, Microsoft, dont receive Nothing for Steam Sales (just if is a Publisher), dont get nothing from Youtube, from Google, from Facebook, from Twiter, from Twich (Google Purchased it Right ?), They do this to Sell more OS, and for the People give more Suport for OS, so more people will use Microsoft Visual Studios, and so on, However, the "Windows Store" is a Store Managed and Supported by Microsoft, so they have the Right to make Money from it because they are who Sell everything there Inside the Law, but you Can sell it on Windows, and for Windows, out-side those Store and Microsoft, will never receive a Coin.

You Know how much they Used the Xbox Streaming for Pc ?, Since the Launch on June/July, were just used for over 6.6 Millions of Hours, this is a Avarege Worse than 4 Seconds per Day, and this is a Free Service that Work even with a Toaster, and after Half a Year, the Total Time Spended in this Service is less than 20 Minutes, after 6 Months the Xbox One Users Spended just 20 Minutes on the Total Time Spended in this Service, this Means that Who Owns a Xbox One, dont Like to Play on PC, and the Majority of the People who Purchased the Console are Thanks the Goddess, Console Gamers.
