So happy about the Cities: Skyline sales. If I was naive, I'd say it might have shown EA the error of their ways but well... it's EA we're talking about here.

haha... Like they would look at those sales when they are swimming in the Star Wars money for a skeleton game.. We sure showed EA and their ways of error:

If what you mean by generally interested in PC gaming is that they have a high end graphics card, mostly game on PC and own a lot of games (let's say 100+), then yeah, a majority of the users here are generally not interested in the platform. Heck, a majority of Steam users aren't interested in the PC platform (and we're talking a massive majority here). Even a majority of PC only gamers aren't interested in the platform. If that's what you consider being generally interested in the platform then you shouldn't be surprised that there aren't a lot of them on this site, because there aren't a lot of them period.

How do you know the majority of the PC userbase isn't interested in the platform?, that sounds like a crazy statement to make than anything close to mine would be.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

You're on a sales site, and yet are surprised at interest in video game sales numbers. Put the tinfoil down, with the lack of real data from publishers and NPD, people take whatever they can get.

No need for the tinfoil hat gesture tbh.

If you take what you can get don't make a final word if you don't have all the data.

Was that the only thing you read from my comment?

Let me recap:

*Your original statement: "I'm also fascinated with how this site has gained a small interest in PC sales data despite the user base on here being very minute and well the majority of users not being generally interested in the platform"

*I claim this specific part of the statement "the majority of users not being generally interested in the platform" to be untrue, because a lot of people game on PC and have an interest in the platform despite being primarily console gamers.

*You then made a comment about people playing chess on PC =/= PC gamers. I agree. I don't see how this is relevant to being generally interested in the platform, but I'll let it fly. Furthermore, if your point was that the primarily console gamers that also play on PC only play stuff like browser games and Minesweeper and Chess, I, first of all

a) disagree (strongly)

and b) while those exist, i think I made it pretty clear that I was talking about people that have a Steam account (or an alternative), and own a fair few games on it (I used myself as an example, with "only" 48 games.)

*Seeing as you went on to talk as if the ones I were talking about weren't generally interested in PC gaming (as that was your original statement), and those I were talking about were people who had a Steam account, had a fair amount of games on it (let's arbitrarily say 20), but maybe played on lower-end hardware and considered themselves primarily console gamers.

*If those people (20 games, playing on lower-end hardware) can't be considered interested in PC gaming, then yes, the majority of PC gamers aren't interested in PC gaming. Seeing as that statement is preposterous, I think the issue here maybe lies with the fact that they are generally interested in PC gaming. Just not as interested as you are in PC gaming.

Sales games on PC are reaaaaaaally poor compared to the console...

I must be in twilight zone or something.

See above comment if you need explaining. Of course, if you've read the whole discussion, and aren't just taking one statement completely out of context then you don't have to.

If you haven't read the whole discussion, and you are in fact just taking the statement completely out of context, let me make it clear: I don't think a majority of Steam users/PC only gamers aren't interested in PC gaming. (refer to above post for more in depth explanation).

Is that why you felt I needed to be "schooled" twice?. (the pulling me back to parts and then the original point despite not just getting to the actual point itself).

I honestly don't get how you think it;s logical how PC only gamers aren't itnerested in PC gaming, if this is some sort of psychological full circle tactic then I honestly don't see the point (again skipping the part of getting to the point).

Your response and your explanation are contradictory to each other though.

Going by your "Let me make it clear" response - it fits well with my response.

Specifically the bolded/italic/underlined part - if "PC only" gamers arent interested in PC gaming then why would they be interested enough to invest time and money on PC gaming and thus call themselves "PC Only gamers"?

Can you re-read the "let me make it clear" part? I bolded the thing I wanted you to see the most. You know, a few words before the part you bolded, it says "I don't think". =__=

Seeing as you apparently still don't get it, I'm wondering if you need to be "schooled" thrice (lol, thrice).

But seeing as you aren't reading my posts (if you were, you would've understood the meaning by that statement by now), I won't bother to type another explanation. I'll just copy and paste the conclusion from my previous post. Obviously it would help if you read the rest, to get some more context, but that's up to you:

I don't need schooling of any sort, I can read fine, I just don't agree with your points is all.

IF you felt copy+pasting the same article as if you're doing this:

Is somehow going to make sense or even things out then I don't even.

Like I said you could get right to the point and explain the black and white.
