I never said its the best game ever, I dont feel like arguing.

I see Nintendo winning E3. They've held their cards close to their chests. So much so that many naively suggest that they have nothing left for the remainder of the year. It makes sense for Nintendo to do so given the comfortable position they are in. They will reveal all at E3, and I think the lineup will be a fair match for the first half trio of SSBB, Wii Fit and Mario Kart. Alongside games targeted at the more traditional audience, I believe Nintendo will unleash a radical new game that fully utilises the Wii's innovative control potential. Something more along the lines of Wii Sport and Wii Fit.

As for Xbox and PS3, as you say, they've been signalling their intentions for some time now. We've been hearing about the big PS3 games ever since its release, in part, to generate hype in the absence of stellar sales. I don't really see anything radically new coming for these consoles, just an update on the progress of the games we all know and expect.

A. You smoking crack, confirmed. You do realize that many game developers ONLY give a "damn" about the Wii and DS, specifically shovelware developers. If you mean real 3rd party support, prehaps you should read my original post. If you think that anything short of Final Fantasy XIV means the Wii has "no 3rd party support" then you sir are smoking crack, cause that myth has been dead for months.

B. None of those things you listed are "showstoppers." They are games we've know about for months or years and they are all old news. We obviously can only speculate as to what the real showstoppers, if any, are. Again, read the OP, things that "win" E3 for you are unannounced games being revieled on a certain console.

They'll win if you like the low quality cash-ins Nintendo makes. If you actually like gameplay, they're not going win anything.

I like gameplay, quality, and innovation; and that's what Sony does best. Nintendo has to prove to me that they can do those things, though I doubt they will. The console that shows the best games with the best gameplay will be my winner.

Its all speculation. Nintendo needs to focus on games (like brawl or MK which were little whispers compared to Nintendo's bragging and Wii Fit) and get hype for some DS games.

Every company has the equal oppurtunity to take E3. Sony did by showing off a lot of new and old (but mostly new) games.

Edit: I love cut off sales.  FFXII sold 5.2 mil to a ginormous install base.  Twilight Princess sold 6.29m to a much smaller one, one that is still growing very fast, so it's not even done.

I think that presuming that Sony and MS have no new announcements for E3 is just as bad as those who presume Nintendo has nothing for the second half of this year. All three will have big announcements of new games I'm sure. On the idea of who will win, well it's all based on who brings out the most surprises, so Nintendo might win based on the fact that they've kept everything so secret, but I wouldn't count MS or Sony out of the running just yet.

Nintendo is undoubtedly the driving force of innovation this generation with its Wii mote and new look on games. To think otherwise is obsurd. While Sony is doing good with Home, aka Sims Version 2.0, and LBP, thats where their "innovation" ends. Whats so innovative?

Lets look at the innovation of Sony with their controllers shall we.

1. The banana controller from E3. Yep Batman innovation.

2. The Six Axis. A poorly constructed knock off of the Wii mote.

3. Dual Shock 3! Yes innovation at its finest! Just take their last generation's controller but improve it a little and make it 3!

Yes you are right. Sony is all about innovation.
