Forums - Gaming Discussion - Xbox One: Where Are The Cons?

It's not that anything is wrong with the X1; it's just that people keep comparing it to the better-executed PS4.

This.  The Xbone is a great system and you can't go wrong with it, it's just not as good as the PS4.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Were you pleased with the result? But my question on expectation were what you expected of it, did you had any?

No, I wasn't pleased. And I can't say I didn't expect something like this but at the same time its still surprising. Part of me thought he would admit some fauls with the XB1 but its all opinion after all. I didn't think...devotion like that...still existed this generation.

Well a lot a people gripe about the controller still using AA batteries I think that is a legit con.

No thanks for proprietary or unremovable batteries, apple and sony can shove it.

I've literally never had a problem with unremovable batteries, but I can understand the concern. LI batteries are so much better than AAs though and there's no reason to include it as standard instead of selling a fcking battery pack.

If every XB1 controller came with a removable/chargerable LI battery, then it wouldn't be an issue.

Aside from Gears of War there really isn't much exclusive content that interests me. Halo 2 was the only Halo game I got into and there's a notable lack of story driven 1 player games - something that's a major selling point on PS4. Also having Naughty Dog is a huge plus for me, as I'm quite fond of well written interactive movies

Yes, you can just open the thing and change it. And when did you ever needed changing a PS3/4 controler baterie? And what apple have to do with it? And if you want you can produce bateries for the thing, no one prohibits you.

I cant see any cons. The system is great. The only cons i see are jealous fanboys.

How about having zero 90+ exclusives in more than 2 years?

Is the XB1 the only console that has managed to accomplish this?

The last 90+ Xbox exclusive was released on 2011.

Very good that you love your system and see no point of improvement.

Xbox One is Broken Compared to Xbox 360 for the Littlest Reasons
Next gen gaming was supposed to be revolutionary so why is it when players pick up their Xbox One controllers they have a longing for 360 goodness. The Xbox One is broken compared to what the 360 was or at least it’s a console that has taken a step back rather than forward. (Xbox 360, Xbox One)
