Maybe it' so they can create a huge buzz and then sell Splatoon separately when people buy a Wii-U to play it?

They only produce limited bundles because if they sell too many wii u's they'll have to restart a very costly production line again.
The next is coming so they don't want that. It's why the Wii U never got a price cut and why it's bundles keep getting more expensive.
Wow!!! Splatoon has really made a huge impact in Japan.
Pocky Lover Boy!

Dang, Splatoon still selling well despite being released several months ago. If the bundle sold out, maybe they should make more, haha. It shows Splatoon sells, so why not make more of a profit?

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
Makes sense. I mean they need to get rid off old systems that are lying around first. Also are wii u's still been actively produced in there factories I wonder?
They are possibly planning a new, different bundle with Splatoon - maybe with a pricedrop or a second game bundled along with it (or both).
Maybe now that SMT x FE Wiiu bundle will start selling...

Usually a bundle is sold taking a loss on the sale of the bundled game... So bundling even more wouldn't "make more of a profit" than selling Splatoon only on its own from now on.
