My bad. I considered covering it with the Spoiler tag, but I thought it would be futile since it was a 27 year old game.

It's technically not really a Mario game as Mario characters were reskins added to the western version, the game is actually Doki Doki Panic while Lost Levels was actually SMB2, it's an ok game but nothing spectacular. The only thing it's really remembered for is being different to other Mario games of the time.
I actually think it's better than both the original and Lost Levels!

The main reason game sucks is that you can't save your progress EVER! You have to finish it in one run.
I own it but have never gotten past the desert stage I believe. Didnt like it. I'd love to give it a second chance though

Screw toad. Princess peach was God in that game! Levitation always felt like I was cheating without a game genie.
I thought it was a nice twist to the series, but I still prefer the original and 3.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I thought I was alone in this world. Sure it's not technically even supposed to be a mario game, but it's arguably had a bigger impact on the mario universe than any other game in the series.
