A Pokemon racing game, if done right, could be fun.

like... whith cars ? or riding Pokémon ? or both cuz Deoxys gotta go fast ?

I thought he meant having the pokemon running against each other. Some of them... anyone but Snorlax.

mhhhhhh, interesting, first I found it to be dumb, but then I tried to think about how MK8 would play switching everything Mario-related with Pokémon-related stuff:

-The courses can take place everywhere in the pokémon world, there are lots of places that could also give sense to gimmiks such as the anti-gravity stuff;

-The question mark boxes are replaced by the Pokéballs that in the overworld of the game contain items;

-The Pokémon have their own stats, depending on how hard you attack you'll slow down more the competitors, while higher your defense is and less you'll slow down, all of which depends on the ammount of HP you have left, if you faint it's the equivalent of falling off the course;

-There are NO type advantages cuz ghost and fairy would be broken;

-There ARE abilities, excluding those who give immunities;

-The items can either boost your stats, lower oppents', inflict statuses such as confusion and so on;

-There are hold items excluding those that give immunities;

-Depending on how you score in the race you gain money that you can then exchange for proteins to boost your stats OR Items to hold during races

It could actually work, would be fun to see how it plays to have an idea...

Train your Naoto to become the best idol.
A digimon sandbox could be awesome too. Especially with a good ecosystem balance system.

A DayZ/H1Z1 like TLoU MMO set in a dense city with maybe some forest and small villages on its outskirts could be so fucking good!

I would take Resident Evil and turn it into a horror game and take away the over-the-shoulder gameplay, give it some per-rendered backgrounds and tank controls.

I also was thinking of making a RTS from Halo Universe, and while doing so, why not making a 3d platformer of PACMAN, and making Rayman a 2d platformer instead of 3d. Also make a MOBA out of Warcraft 3, or a fighting game outta Final Fantasy series, that would be genius

The Forerunners tale from Halo could easily be an action-rpg in the vein of Mass Effect where the legend of the precursors and threat of the flood would be ever present.

Hey Capcom treats old-style RE like it doesn't exist so I said that. :P

That game will require a tight grip of the Wiimote.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

What about Assassins Creed MortalKombat-like game, with fatalities involving the hidden weapons and such...

Or Kratos Party, with minigames where competitors have to dismember persons fast, and the winner is the one who does more and bloodier...

Or Super Mario Man Hunt, where we have to hunt down and eviscerate little Bowsers minions and sons and at the end Bowser itself...

Mass Effect would make a great rpg.

Take mirrors edge and would fit on platform genres
