When it comes to Japan they just love their handheld 's but I think PS4 is defiantly picking up some speed. In the last month 3DS has done better but I'll go with the PS4

It will be close, but I think the 3DS will win especially if there is a main Pokemon and Yokai Watch game coming out

Yokai Watch 3 and Yokai Watch Sangokushi. Both releasing in 2016 in Japan.

The gap between 3DS and PS4 has since the launch of the PS4 shronk by more than 10 million units. Which reflects what kind of beast the PS4 is just not in Japan. In Europe the gap between the 3DS and PS4 is under 2 million. Just because the PS4 is in beast mode it doesn't mean it is everywhere in beast mode.

I don't know if announcements of a new system do much to sales, but if it does then the PS4 could sell more. However, as things are, the 3DS is likely to sell more. There could always be upsets like the PS4 suddenly taking off big time in Japan.

edit: That's not to say that the PS4 hasn't already been doing things like that this year.

Console gaming is frackin dead in Japan... Unless there will be a miracle happened, i can't possibly see any chance for the PS4 tbh :P.

Ps4 and WiiU aren't the same product and price points so is 3ds and Vita. It's a simple question, which will sell more between 3ds and PS4. No need to act so immature about it. Especially when  all 4 of the systems actually compete with each other and they are the best to compare for 2016
