Just except that some people have other taste in movies than you. :)

Considering the lengths he's going to ensure that everyone knows how bad he thinks the movie is, I find his previous comment particularly ironic.

It's not my fault if people can leave their brain at the door when watching a movie. The faults of the weak script is right there for everyone to see but many refuse.

We all function differently. I'll accept your opinion of the movie if you accept ours.

I don't think that applies here. The rules within the universe must make sense within the universe. What you are asking here is that we accept the flaws of the movie. I can suspend my disbelief and believe in the force but I cannot believe that Rey can defeat a trained Sith.

Yeah, like what the heck! I'm sorry, but it just blows my mind as to why America loves Star Wars so much. Who the heck are all these people going to see this film??? I mean...really???

I'm literally holding my breath right now, just hoping....DO NOT beat Avatar and Titanic worldwide. TFA can have all those records it won, but not the MOST important one that matters. TOTAL gross!!! Titanic especially is a true, stunning work of art that does not deserve to be topped. Avatar only topped it because Titanic had no 3D when people were constantly going to watch it over and over again in theaters.

Titanic and Star Wars have something in common. People go to see them multiple times.  Most movies get one viewing, but I remember seeing Titanic three times as a girl and several friends were same way. Right now most friends saw Star Wars two or three times already.

That's fair enough, I'm just giving an example of how I may have looked past faults to enjoy the movie. Whatever the case, I hear and understand your opinion, and it is valid, but you are airing it in the wrong thread. I'd recommend the "The Force Awakens Sucks!" thread to find better discussion.

Surprisingly or not, he already has his own "I hate SW:TFA" thread.

So many posts I thought we had some interesting box office numbers results for the weekend

This is a universe in which we're asked to believe an untrained 9-year-old snot nosed kid is the only human who can race pods at like 1000 mph? While building protocol droids on the side for fun? Oh and he was conceived by the Force itself too. Apparently it can just impregnate people at random.

Also Kylo Ren wasn't trying to kill Rey, he sensed tremendous power in her and wanted to recruit her to his cause. Beyond that it's even stated explicitly in the movie that he's not fully trained. How much lightsaber combat has he really been in (not training excercises)? It's not like there are any other Jedi around for him to fight.
