But, he definitely deserves a break, so it's not really a big issue if it comes out late in the next console's life..

You can, but that's roughly an 11m userbase at this point. And not everyone will still have, or play their WiiU when NX is out. That's part of the point Gamexplain were making about Nintendo throwing away such an ambitious project when it could have more sales on the NX, and potentially continue the DLC support even further.

I get what you mean, but I'm not a competitive Smash player, so I barely play online.. if I do, it's usually with friends anyways

I still play Brawl and Melee from time to time and those don't have online play so it doesn't matter about the userbase :p

Beacuse SSBU hasn't reached its sales potential (being castrated by WiiU), also the time and money you need to develop an HD sequel is higher compared to those times. Also Nintendo, imo, has to keep away their studios from cyclical IPs as much as possible.They need resources to develop new unique games (not necessarily new IPs) in order to push NX.

Well, it's more likely that people will just get the Matrix jack and just plug themselves into the game.

Actully not.. VR/steam machines.. is only a Nintendo decision away.. The matrix jack is proberly (minimum) 50 years away.

But It was a litle fun.. becourse you said NX would be BC..

The only thing we know about NX...: "brand new concept" "unique" "nothing like WiiU" "dedicated gaming platform" surgest that NX could infact not have BC.. At this point my statement is just as "likely"

ONT: And enhanced WiiU version for NX does not have to mean better graphic.. just to use the "specialness" of NX..
