I already own Bayo 1 on 360
I could be a factor and I would definitely buy the game on any system I own. But it depends on what else is available. For example I would love to play Witcher 3, Shadows of Mordor and (the better version) Dragon Age inquisition but these games by itself are not enough for me to get a ps4/Xbox One. Maybe if Street Fighter V and a new DmC game release, I will reconsider. It would be the same with Bayonetta. I guess I would pick up a ps4/Xbox One if Bayonetta 3 were to release on it but not only because of Bayonetta, but also because of previously mentioned games
I'd only buy a console for 1 game if that games was Smash Bros, Zelda or 3d Mario. Maybe Mario Kart or Pokemon, depending on whether they're amazing (like Mario Kart 8 or MMO Pokemon dream game). Bayonetta is only a small step down from these games though, Bayonetta 2 is among my top 5 games his gen.

I would rather they made Bayonetta 3 for the Wii U (hopefully already are).
But no, i wouldnt buy a console just for Bayonetta. I think Xenoblade might be the only series that can drag me to do that.

I've owned all of the big 3 at one point or another. If Bayo 3 came out on another system I'd definitely consider it. But at this point I already know there are games on the twins that I would consider purchasing too, so that wouldn't count. Now question would be would I buy a next gen console (PS5, X2, NX), with only the guarantee of Bayonetta 3 being exclusive to it.

The guy I quoted asked why would Nintendo fans fans buy a console just for one game when Sony/Micro fans didn't.
Going past the fact that there is no data that can confirm the affirmation that not a single Sony/Micro fan bought a Wii U for Bayonetta 2, I went past that, and gave an example of why Nintendo fans are not a reactionary group that does what the other fanbases do, the reason behind my comment.
I was not talking about the reason why fanbases buy consoles - what your argument is about - I was taking down an argument about Nintendo fans doing what Sony/Micro fans do with a straight example.
Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
