PlayStation Vita was released 4 years ago in Japan

It is time to look back and see at the good and the bad in the handhelds rocky life!

PSVita has been the home for many great games you can't play anywhere else! Except maybe PS3 and PS4...

So, how good did your gaming life become because Sony released the Vita?

Do you play your Vita?

Are there games you are looking forward to?

Would you like Sony to release a follow-up to the Vita?

Happy Birthday Vita!

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Had the Vita since launch and whilst it had a great start with game such as Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, Persona 4: Golden and follow up games like Tearaway it never truly got the attention it deserved.

I feel the main reason for this was the choice to have proprietary memory cards which were incredibly expensive when compared to SD card costs and this will have turned off many gamers, that along with the rise of mobile gaming - this will be the last handheld for a while I think!

There aren't any games on the horizon that I am looking forward to but my partner can't wait to get Civilisation Revolution 2 for the handheld and was genuinely upset when it was delayed till Jan!!

Time sure does fly by. I remember it like yesterday when that shiny Vita came in the mail and I played Uncharted: Golden Abyss for the first time. It was a blast! Good times!

I'm really gonna miss Sony Handhelds in the future btw. The PSP was the best handheld ever imo and the Vita was also great! It's a shame the Vita didn't sell so good. :/

But enough of that. Yai Vita, let's celebrate! =D

I had one and enjoyed the hell out of it for the first year or 2. I got tired of there being barely any games released for it, sold it, and got a "New" 3DS XL instead

Actually Vita is about 4.1 billion years old.

Bought it when it came out because it was so sexy, then put it away for a year. Came back a year later to see all the good games I missed all year. Literally nothing.... I was hoping Phantasy Star Online 2 would finally be on it. So yeah, pretty disappointed because I wanted it to be like PSP. I probably carry my PSP around more than my Vita these days. I also looked into getting emulation on the Vita.. and nothing. Then last year I got into a Trophy hunting mood and ended up getting stuck on Woah Dave. Very addicting game. That's the last I've touched it.

Those are some monster legs right there.

I still want to get a Vita. Maybe when I find an unbundled Vita around 100€ or a PS TV for 20-25€, I might get it. It has a lot of games I might like, and it has free online multiplayer.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Nintendo were brilliant and brutal to release Monster Hunter on the 3DS the same day Vita launched. 3DS outsold it at launch.
