With Splatoon beating the million mark in less than a year (http://nintendoeverything.com/splatoon-surpasses-1-million-copies-sold-in-japan/), this game has shown it has fantastic legs, and will probably become a seller as good as Smash and Mario Kart in time. Splatoon is, at this moment, the WiiU game with the strongest growth. Will it be able to surpass some of the best selling WiiU games? 3D world has around one million copies of advantage, and Smash U has sold even better. Will the legs of Splatoon continue and allow the game to beat those two in sales?

Tough to say.......... It is selling AMAZINGLY! But another million.......
I would say it won't pass 3D world. But of course, Splatoon has proven me wrong many times!

Splatoon Will become the Second bigger game on Wii U, only under Kart 8 which Will end At ~8.50 million, while Splatoon Will end At ~7.00 million.

I wouldn't watch VGC numbers, last official numbers we have from Nintendo as 30, September were saying that:
Mario 3D World was on 4.47m.
Splatoon was on 2.42m.

Splatoon just sold 1m in Japan... It's lets are insane there. As well as legs in NA. It could very well beat 3D World. Not sure about Smash.

I don't believe it will catch Smash Bros.

3D World is definitely feasible. Smash might be just out of reach. We'll have to wait and see.

I think it will be clsoe to 3D world but a new bundle for 3D world might happen!
I say 5 mil and 4.8.
