I first got my 3DS back in July of 11' and WOW what a handheld it was!! OOT 3D, Sims 3D,  Majora's Mask 3D, NSMB2, Super Mario 3D Land, and much more awesome titles. It's been a long journey and it feels like I watched the 3DS grow up and have all these games coming out. As of right now, I am NOT getting anymore games for it. No big nintendo games interest me for next year. Not Hyrule Warrior Legends, Mega Man collection and others. I think after the current game I'm playing, I think I'm done with the 3DS system itself. Sure I'll take it with me when I go traveling (which I doubt, I barely travel) but besides being at home, I don't think I'll be playing it when I have the gorgeous HD Wii U right infront of me. Why play Smash bros and Mario Kart, on 3ds when I can play it on Wii U? That's what I mean. I recently beat Majora's Mask 3D and I'm currently trying to beat A Link Between Worlds now. A Link between Worlds is the ONLY reason I'm still playing my 3DS after this game I'm done with the whole system itself.... It's just kinda sad in my opinion. Now I wait for Nintendo's next handheld (or NX) to be released and I'll go back to handheld gaming (Yeah, the Vita got boring due to lack of good games so I quit playing it earlier this year). I'll focusing heavily on the PS4 system next year.  

What about Fire Emblem? Kid Icarus:Uprising? There's still plenty of hidden gems in the 3DS you just don't know of, alongside with the dozens of DS lost gems.

Not gonna wait for Shin Megami Tensei Final and the various Dragon Quest games coming out?

The 3DS still has plenty of life so you shouldn't discard it so easily until it takes its last breath!

No. Don't try to insinuate FF is a gem until they rereveal it as a completely retooled game next year. 

That's why I said gem/games incase some of these stink it up haha

So, could you make a list of the 3DS games that you have played so far? Because it has a huge number of good games and I doubt you've played all of them already.

if you're looking for some shiny games maybe take a look at the Vita? Massive amount of games available for that now (from the psn store, don't ever go off what you see stocked in gamestores for the Vita) But yeah console is pretty damn cheap now, and a right solid piece of hardware. Its ports of things like NFS:most wanted and Sonic Racing transformed are probably far closer to a Wii-U version of a racer than Mario Kart 7 would be.
