This topic is full of bias: people vote the games they love without decent / objective graphical analysis. I love bayonetta, but the game shouldn't even be in this poll; same for half the games. By this logic, I can't see why Splatoon isnt in there...

Why do you list Captain Toad over 3D World? ಠ_ಠ

No love for Zelda WW HD graphic!?

Game looks gorgeous, for me best looking game on console with MK8.

Because it uses a more advanced version of the graphics saw in 3Dworld. Putting 3Dworld there would be redundant.

I also would list 3D World above Captain Toad because I think that graphics looks and feels better on bigger levels in 3D World.

Amateur sarcasm (there was the need to post something, but there was no structure / no idea / no skill / no life to it). Try harder.

Ex Graphics Whore.

Oh WipeOut HD definitely has better image quality, I'm not contesting that at all, I'm just calling FRN graphically better as an entire package. Though if one is a stickler for image quality I can certainly understand finding WipeOut more visually appealing.

I presume the framebuffer reconstruction was done for much the same reasons as Shadowfall; they wanted to hit 60fps without cutting down on their textures/shaders/effects.

I guess I was expecting too much. It looks good on a small screen, yet I like these kind of games supersized. On my 92" projector screen FRN looks like a mess. It's still fun to play it at that size, yet graphical showcase it is not.

If you're gaming on a projector at 92" I can see why you'd place a premium on image quality.

I was calling it a graphical showcase based more on the game's technological makeup rather than its visual appeal when blown up to that size.

You don't deserve more than that.

Fatal Frame 5

Captain Toad is the real answer. Graphically its very impressive and at a locked buttery smooth 60 fps with all effects. Graphically its quite a showcase. The other games show limitations and have some technical issues that Captain Toad does not.

Bayo 2 and Mk8? No AA. XCX is 30 fps. FRN? Sub 720p fps at times and no AA. Yohshi and NFS are the closest ones to touch Captain Toad, but in the end, its the total package of great effects, great graphics, nice AA and 60 fps. The other games have some impressive graphics and do the Wii U proud, but Captain Toad is a graphical and technical achievement.
