Forums - Sales - WW HW December 5th Week.

Does seem like with this, the Wii U is just over 1m behind the Vita, it will be interesting to see how things unfold in the next year, especially with more NX information and such.

I can't shake the feeling that PS4 is under tracked as usual. Not just on the weekly but its still behind based on sonys hardware announcement.

I feel by the end of December PS4 should be at 36/37M sold WW. Mind blowing.

This!

Good numbers for all consoles

Will be even better after adjustments

Xbox One is definitely overtracked! And PS4 is probably still undertacked.

Based on what?

Based on my opinion.
VGChartz numbers are still different from the Sony announcement.
And if Xbox did that well this year, Microsoft would have definitely announced Xbox One sales numbers but they didn't.

LOL still 32.3 Millions on Global Hardware, are they serious? They sold almost 1 million in a week, and they dont change the global number for ps4?? L

Yes they did. w/e 21 Nov PS4 LTD is now 29.89M that's only 311K under the Sony announcement, which if that's what VGC originally had for PS4's LTD when Sony announced everyone would have said "good job VGC." VGC doesn't need to have a number exactly the same as Sony's, after all, Sony's number is also an estimate, just a far more accurate estimate. So being within 1% of Sony's estimate is absolutely fine.

We always have this discussion and it ends with Sony is more accurate and probably conservative and there is no reason not to match it and keep your data less accurate just to claim it's inside intersection of margin of error.

And then come the same people and say that 2M is just 5% margin and no big deal and VGC tracking is fine... ignoring that on NPD they have to correct 40% or even more sometimes, and that the 2M is the error in less than a quarter timeframe because the numbers were adjusted some weeks or months before.. So please stop excusing it.

How do you know what Microsoft would announce, and when?
