The most memorable time was when I first played the demo for FF X back in the day before the Internet was usable, dial-up was shocking at the time!!

Doom III was the last time I couldn't believe graphics were real. Since then I have been impressed multiple times, but never jaw dropping "big leap" compared to everything else.
