Forums - Gaming Discussion - When was the last time a game's graphics blew your mind?

I would say Driveclub. the little visual things that the game does really get you into it. I find it interesting how for me at least, the gameplay aspect is improved just because the graphical fidelity is so high. I feel a sense of motion that I don't get from other racing games and really hope to see it in VR.

Hmm, dunno, maybe Mario Kart 8? But then again, I don't own a PS4 yet, so....

I'd have to say The Order 1886 ...

Transistor ! indie, but direction art, was just perfect for me !

Probably Witcher 3. I think Life is Strange is quite beautiful at times too.

In the near future: Uncharted 4. I'm already very impressed by Youtube videos.

I'm with you on Life is Strange.  Something about that game.  Technically it's not that great but so many moments just look great.  I must have said "Xbox take a screenshot" a dozen times.  Even my wallpaper is Max and Chloe looking at a sunset.

blew my mind: God of War III

pretty impressive: inFamous Second Son, The Witcher 3

Didn't happen, but the closest thing to that was Warhammer Online - the level of mastery, detail and realism while having engine that handled hundreds of players on the same spot was impressive.

    CU......or CF ?

Driveclub blew everything

Star Wars Battlefront, before that Driveclub

  Tifa got MOVES!

Ori and the Blind Forest.

If by sheer graphical fidelity, I'd say Skyrim blew me away.
