You are saying Xb1 is the best because you like it, but when the same allegation is made for the PS4, it needs a reason to be better, as though stating it wasn't the best wasn't an indication that the person liked it or at the very least was up to the opinion that it was the best, which is afterall the exact same thing as your OP.

I, too, can make two things be equal if I add in a bunch of criteria. When the "extra games" don't count, when the "non-biggest JRPGs" don't count, when the "niche games" don't count, when "indies don't count because most suck" even though there have been several great ones released.....yea, PS4 and XBOne are equal.
Funny, those "extra games" and "non-biggest JRPGs" helped PS3 trounce XB360 in Europe and Japan and catch up in worldwide sales, because they didn't exist on XB360. Amazing what "doesn't count" and can do for a platform. Even more amazing is the lack of cognition to realize these "extra games", PS3 and PS4 alike, are exclusive (either true exclusive, console exclusive, or PS family exclusive), but you turn around and say they're bullshit (in terms of variety) because.....people only buy the PS4 for its exclusives??
Side note: DQXI on PS4 and 3DS will be completely different gameplay experiences, with the only thing being in common, really, is the story. To say that DQXI is the same on PS4 and 3DS (to be able to say "it'll sell more on 3DS anyway" and cheapen its value to the PS4 library in the argument you're making) would be like saying Pro Skater 2 is "the same game" on Dreamcast and GameBoy. Also, are Persona, Tales, Star Ocean, and Ni No Kuni not "big" JRPGs anymore? You know there's more to the world of JRPGs than Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, right?

Can't really take you serious with a post like this. I doubt they provided much help if any lol, yet you are trying to give them credit for helping PS3 trounce 360 in Europe and Japan. That probably had more to do with Sonys brand in those territories and much bigger titles such as GT for Europe and Final Fantasy for Japan. I didnt say people buy PS4s for exclusives, you should reread that sentence. I was referring to the extra games the PS4 gets that are relevant besides the first party exclusives. I didnt say those games suck, i simply said those games are as important as bc is to the market. In other words not very important, just important to the few people that want it. Sony fans are quick to make the libraries between these plats seem so different because of niche shit, yet crap on niche shit such as bc and snap lol. And no, their not big. I know there is more to the world of jrpgs besides final fantasy and kingdom hearts...those two are Pokemons bitch. Theres also MH, YW, and DQ. All on other plats because they are relevant. Its funny really, the two biggest jrpgs the ps4 gets are also on xb1 lol. Wanna know why xb1 doesnt get the other jrpgs? Niche shit.
Your sidenote is also hilarious, they are precisely the same game and when the PS4 version fails hard at keeping up with 3ds version the market will clearly show they agree. If they provided completely different experiences then the games should not harm each other, yet PS4 version will sell like a joke mainline DQ and you know it.

Riiiight.. So thats why the niche jrpgs the ps3 got sold like crap. Or why the top selling ps3 games look completely identical to the 360 top selling games besides the first party exclusives from each.
