Forums - Gaming - New Turtles Game by Platinum Games!

If it's any good I'll buy it day 1! The last great game was on the GameCube tho, so I won't hype before we see it. :P

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Star Fox Zero, Nier Automata, Scalebound and now TMNT? I thought PG was a relatively small company.

It'd be awesome if it was a continuation or spiritual sequel to TMNT : The Arcade Game / Turtles in Time / etc.

Not nearly enough side scrolling beat em ups of any quality in the past couple decades really. Used to play the Turtles game, the Simpsons one, and a bunch of others with friends at arcades, and it was always a blast.

Must fap To this news!

It doesn't surprise me Platinum can churn out so much at the same time. They basically have a template that they can drop franchises into (similar to Konami when they had their shit together). Considering the old arcade games were relatively simple, threw mobs of really weak enemies at you, and had co-op...I somehow doubt Plat's TMNT will be anything like them.

Great news!

Turtles in Time was one of my favourite games as a kid and PlatinumGames' mechanics are unmatched.

To this very day, that game is the best TMNT game to date. Well...the SNES version that is.
