Good, some random dude shouldn't be able to get away with doing it. I personally don't see a use for it since it makes no sense to me. I don't really use remote play on my Vita but I understand why someone else would because it's a handheld but I have no idea what this is useful for if you can just play it on your TV.
I guess you don't need a beefy PC to do it so people even with a PC from 2010 will probably be able to do it easily. Well, why not?

Now that's a surprise... That said, it's a positive surprise and if anything, it should be good for Sony. Remote Play isn't saving Vita, so expanding the number of devices that are supported by Remote Play should make it a more useful feature. And considering the number of PCs there are, this is going to increase the usefulness of Remote Play a lot.

Umm, I'm pretty sure there would be nothing illegal with anyone doing their own Remote Play client. And Sony could easily find ways to disable it anyway if they wanted to, I'm sure.
Now all we need to do is buy a console to stream from one screen to another just like a TV with no differences =D.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
It's a nice little bonus on Xbox so I can see it being useful on PlayStation
Good to see Sony closing in on the PC space more and more, great move from them.
