Now that's a surprise... That said, it's a positive surprise and if anything, it should be good for Sony. Remote Play isn't saving Vita, so expanding the number of devices that are supported by Remote Play should make it a more useful feature. And considering the number of PCs there are, this is going to increase the usefulness of Remote Play a lot.

Umm, I'm pretty sure there would be nothing illegal with anyone doing their own Remote Play client. And Sony could easily find ways to disable it anyway if they wanted to, I'm sure.
