Whoa. That is low week 1 sales. Count me among those who would have thought it would do better than that. A piddly number for such a title. It's quite heavily advertised in my section of the Earth. Whatever though. This is not an outcome I'm feeling bad about, given the exclusivity deal the game has.

Every time? That is not true. How is Sony's deal with Activistion any different for the one Microsoft had with them last generation?

I'm talking about 8th generation.

Doubt it. They will do fine. SE would not have signed an exclusive agreement unless they benefit from it. They will profit from this, and Tomb Raider will sell fine on the Xbox, and hopefully when it releases on platforms at the end of next year.

No, only deals Microsoft makes are bad. Anything sony does is to be celebrated, and is great. I find it funny that this game selling bad is being celebrated by Sony fans, and saying that deals like this need to stop, but sony paying for deals left and right is totally fine.... love the double standards.

That's pretty hypocritical coming from you, since you were gloating about your early access to the game, and mocking the PS4 fans about having to wait one year.

And you got 8 thumbs up for that, so clearly you're not the only one herewho enjoys gloating and mocking the PS4 fans.
And there is a difference between funding and co-developing a game that didn't have the R&D funds to begin development, as opposed to paying just to delay the game for the other fanbase. Something you were gloating about.
You can do that all you want, but at least be honest about it instead of playing the martyr in another topic.
For the record, I'd rather Sony didn't make that deal with Capcom as I'd rather as many people as possible play SFV, but that's not a great comparison to Tomb Raider. What Sony did with Tomb Raider 2 for PS1 is a closer comparison.

These numbers are very frightening, i think Tomb Raider as a series is finished now. Next year on ps4 no one will even care about it, the memomentum seems to be wasted.

Getting desperate with your lies here? The problem with lying when you've made a public post is that it's easy to get caught. You didn't respond to anyone. It was a standalone post.

 

Not only did you not respond to anyone, but the only comments that even existed on the day you made your post were these four:

- System seller, good move MS.
- Awesome. Now i just have to wait a year to play it.
- I will but a XBOX at one point, but not just yet, hope the PS4 version will include all the DLC and stuff, the game looks good as was the last one.
- @zippy no worry it will come to PS4 with all the DLC and micro transaction all for free (worth the wait)

None of whom were downplaying anything (the last Tomb Raider came out on PS4 with all DLC for free) or warranting your post with the gloating and mocking the other fanbase. And either way, you're a hypocrit complaining about people supposedly celebrating the low sales after making a comment like that.

The only thing you've done in this topic is show your dishonesty.

So that's all of the messages there huh? Hmm. Ok. If you say so. But there has to be atleast one missing, as someone is responding to zippy too. But, I'm being dishonest, yes. I've always said, dishonesty is the best policy. Haha.

Everybody just needs to relax a little bit, yes we all know this deal didn't work out so well and it will sell more on PS4 by a decent margin.

In the meantime just let the Xbox owners enjoy a great game for now and know that in a year PS4 owners will have another great game to look forward to.

And don't forget Lara has some sexy legs so don't count her out yet! At least give her until Christmas before accusing the poor girl of being sales dud of the year, ouch. :)
