Forums - Gaming - Microsoft UK Advertise Battlefront in Metro using loophole

Here is what will happen. The console manufacturers will first write out the loopholes, and we will have huge lawsuits nobody wants. The lawsuits will divert funds from gaming development so gamers will lose. Failing that there will be an end to the marketing deals. Meaning the developers will lose out on 100m plus funding, and this will effect games at every level. So ultimately we will all lose out, so GG.

Ms never ceases to amaze. Third or fourth time they circunvent these deals? And People still ask us to cut slack

I was amused by that too, when PlayStation 3 games were being marked lower for technical details like resolution where were all these slack-cutters to help Sony?

people still read newspaper? Good luck, MS.

Why should any gamer care about these dumbass marketing deals between these companies? I don't think it's a fair game to begin with, if you have a game for your device you should be allowed to market it.

Wow. The reactions in here! and "illegal"? bwah ha haaaa.

Some kid in marketing deserves a pat on the back! That's all.

Well it is curious, did MS have control over page layout? It would seem they did.... That is not a good sign. Metro do game reviews and the guy comes across as very anti-PlayStation also.

Exclusive marketing deals are pathetic anyway. Something only companies that lack faith in their first party do.

I think it's criminal to even be allowed to HAVE exclusive marketing. It's completely BS and should be legally blocked in court.

you guys are reading way to much into this, read it in the proper context...

ms is just doing everyone the public service of letting you know there is nothing on xbox one.   cut them some slack guys, not everything they do is sneaky and underhanded.  they are doing this for the gamers.

Yeah.  If they're going to give it then they gotta take it. Sony won't be worried though because these stunts in the past failed to stop the hype train and so will this.

Yep Sony don't need to worry, but it's funny and pathetic

celebrating 5p more of resolution and saying Sony deserved to burn in hell for charging 600 for a console, even if it costed 800-900 to make... fuck them for saying If I'm not rich enough to buy it at launch I could work a second job, who they think they are? better get my food stamps.
