OP I have to ask you, what are you smoking, in what world do you live? Sega is in no way involved with the making of Shenmue 3, why are you give them false credit?

Bad news for people like me that hoped they went down Konami road so that they could sell Bayo to Nintendo, now that it looks like they are doing what they have to do they might decide to keep the IP

Sega said in november they are supporting the development of the game. But nobody know how exactly that support might look like...

As for Sega itself... They might have one or two good titles every now and then, but in my eyes, they are still pretty mediocre. 

How on earth is Sega back when all they do are crappy Sonic games and Yakuzas?

When they release games like PSO, Skies of Arcadia, Panzer Dragoon, good Sonic games, Shining series, a good racing game like Daytona and they bring back their boldness from the 90s then yea they'll be back. Until then... meh!

Over half of this won't come to the west; the Sonic game will be garbage; Shenmue 3 has nothing to do with any Sega decisions aside from "Lol, yeah, if you can get it funded, you can make it."

Oh how the mighty have fallen

There are still a lot of Sega franchises that they haven't done anything with for years. Just making a Yakuza game and a Valkyrie Chronicles game doesn't mean they're back, and yes Shenmue 3 is nice, but they still have bevy of IPs they are just letting rot so they are still just mediocre to me.

When they bring back Panzer Dragoon, Jet Set Radio, House of the Dead, and NiGHTS, then maybe they'll be good again.

Skies of Arcadia 2 is missing from that list.
