You're telling me they have a PC version that runs at 1080p 60FPS no issues on a GTX 460, yet they can't port the PC version over to consoles?

Why bother using the PS3 and 360 versions as a base when you have a superior version on PC?
The PC would have been closer the current generation consoles, since that's an X86 machine, the architecture would have been much similar to the 8th gen machines.

A rig with a dual core, Pentium G840, 4GBs of 1333MHz DDR3 and a 1GB HD6770 can almost turn out a locked 60FPS, both consoles have more capable hardware than that, with more RAM and faster bandwidth overall.
Saying the game isn't designed to run at higher frame rates than 30FPS is bull.

No drops in resolution or frame rates should be happening in this game on PS4 or Xbox One.

Basically they're saying. Because the remaster was priced at $30. We couldn't pay to do the work required. Then why bother in the first place? Makes the systems look bad. When it comes to none tech folks. Because, I'd first think. 3 year old game can't run at max on newer hardware. These systems are garbage. When it's the game engine and company choices that are crap. Might as well done a remake. Since the areas needed to be rebuilt.
